Getting ones self banned is so passe. I mean really, it was old hash even when Feba did it. Hell it wasn't original when the admin did it to himself and even less so when Nonlinear asked for it.

Smiley: snore

Kudos on getting rid of him though.

I think the first person to request a self ban was that dude who used to have a "guide" to Guru on his journal linked in his sig...jeez, forget his name. I remember he was the first premie ever banned, too.

He was way back when Tot_m first struck war with the land of the moogles, which birthed the Sanctuary.

Feba was the next to ask for himself to be banned, and is the only banned, default, 10k poster.

Eon is not only sloppy thirds but barely a bleep in the radar to be worth mentioning when the next guy asks to be banned (cause, ZOMG, the karma system is the ghey! who da thunk!??!??!?!?) and we sit back and fall into a flashback.

The apostrophe in your avatar should be before the "Nam," not after.

Pretty much, he didn't straight up demand that they ban it but you can definitely say he was asking for it.

He didn't even really "get himself banned" -- he begged for it like a hungry puppy in Katie's "OoT Christmas" thread.

Read the thread, or at least I gave it a cursory glance and moved quickly onto something else. One can only look at this and feel a sense of eternal recurrence than Nietzsche often referenced. It has happened before, though the players may be different its still the same.

In a way it is comforting, though not overly interesting.

I'd be much more interested in how many times I was rated than in how many times I rated someone else.

As I told Hellboy, that's a much slower query, especially for really high postcount folks.

James Brown is rocking my ipod, the girlfriend is asleep and I don't work in the morning. Query away. Or at least make me guru as an apology for continually not being able to appease the silly demands of a paying customer!

Which is of course why everyone wants that answer. (42?)

I was more aiming for people that blatantly asked for it versus people that were "asking for it."

The 'asking for it' list would be just a tad greater. Smiley: laugh

Flip over to the new eq2 stylesheet. Sage green is now a neon abortion.
