Add to that that we tend to copy our parents when we have children (Even if we try to do the opposite lol).
I saw a documentary on the brain activity and women, unlike men, are ALWAYS activating their "active memory" in their everyday activities.
Men think of what they are doing at the moment; women think of what they do, but AT THE SAME TIME we always think of what happenned 1 hr ago, 1 week ago, a year ago.
Child birth brings forth a constant mental effort of: Am I doing this right? How did I feel as a child When my parents acted like I do? Am I crazy like my mom?
There is IMMENSE pressure to bring up your child as a sane and balanced person, because we love our children and want them to be happy. We all individually wish to be balanced. Now try bringing balance to a 2-8-13-20- year old, when you have your husband, house, car, debts, work, all the blabla to keep up, and have enough energy to be constant in your interventions and do the right intervention, whilst thinking Am I right, all the time.
Lack of sleep, the house getting ripped apart, social isolation (I dont know why, my friends stopped calling me at 20 years old when I was talking of nipples bleeding and insomnia, FFXI online (Wtf is that) and I hadnt had a drink in 10 months.) They didnt understand, and its ok. But it gets lonely some times:(
I discovered the gaming community when my daughter was 3 months old and I met a lot of very fun ppl in FFXI and lurking the forums here:P I jumped in a few months ago hehe. It saved me.
Luckily, I dont think I am crazy, Im just antsy of getting older and having more friends with kids. ^.^
Cheers gals :)
