Just write that if women worked as hard as men and knew as much as men then they'd be worth as much as men and paid as much as men. 'Cause that's how capitalism works, damn it!

And anyone who disagrees is a dirty America-hating communist supporting the terrorists.

Damned Liberals! Always getting the rhetoric wrong.

I bet the mom would change her tune if all his WoW friends started coming over for LAN parties.

Lol. I played KoL a while ago. I was a level 15 Seal Clubber, I believe.

The game was funny, but it definately loses some of its initial luster after a while. I hated waiting for turns to regenerate, and I spent all my meat on super automatic bartenders and chefs.

It can get a bit repetitive, but it's a very active community and the developers are constantly adding new content. One thing that might have changed since you played is Ascensions, where you're able to be reborn and keep one skill from your past life permanently. I'm up to 6 so far...

Today is the start of the holiday season in KoL, and because the KoL calendar is a bit wacky, KoL Halloween falls on RL Christmas. Thus, we begin celebrating Crimboween (after the Crimbo Elves who make the toys), but alas, the Naughty Sorceress has absconded with Uncle Crimbo (Santa) and appears to be mucking around with the holiday theme. Most of us expect a lot of Nightmare Before Christmas-themed content, and it should be a lot of fun.

One way I was able to keep interested was by starting a Clan (guild). It's called The Line Drawing Consortium, and we have about 100 people thus far. If you ever decide to come back, you'll have a place with the LDC :)
