By now we've all had time to assimiliate what our good old buddy Cosmo Kramer has done. Sure it's funny, but after reading the following it's just sad now. Bolding the parts that are absolutely retarded.

Kramer
Quote:
LOS ANGELES — Two men who say they were insulted by actor-comedian Michael Richards during his racist rant at a comedy club want a personal apology and maybe some money, their lawyer said Friday.

The men, Frank McBride and Kyle Doss, said they were part of a group of about 20 people who had gathered at West Hollywood's Laugh Factory to celebrate a friend's birthday. According to their attorney, Gloria Allred, they were ordering drinks when Richards berated them for interrupting his act.

When one of the group replied that he wasn't funny, Richards launched into a string of obscenities and racial epithets. A video cellphone captured the outburst.

Richards, who played Kramer on the TV sitcom "Seinfeld," made a nationally televised apology on the "Late Show with David Letterman" this week. He has since apologized to civil-rights leaders the Rev. Jesse Jackson and the Rev. Al Sharpton.

But Allred complained Friday that he "has not apologized to his victims directly, face to face, man to man."

Richards' publicist said his client wants to apologize to both men, who are black, but hasn't been able to locate them.

Allred, speaking by phone from Colorado, said Richards should meet McBride and Doss in front of a retired judge to "acknowledge his behavior and to apologize to them" and allow the judge to decide on monetary compensation. She did not specify a figure.

"Our clients were vulnerable," Allred said. "He singled them out and he taunted them, and he did it in a closed room where they were captive."

Richards' publicist said the comic wasn't considering any demand for payment.

Ok give me a fucking break. He apologized to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? Why, were they in the crowd at the time? Why on God's green Earth would Richards agree to meet these two in front of a retired judge to discuss monetary compensation?

The clients were vulnerable in a closed room? I suppose that those doors at the back of the room must have been locked and Richards was also wielding a gun to hold them captive. It was low that Richards when there, but these guys are just ridiculous now. I hope he doesn't give them ****.

Litigation... it's the American way. I guarantee you that those two guys had tons of people advising them to sue the moment the incident happened. As far apologizing to two people who had nothing to do with the incident, this is just another pair of individuals trying to gain face time in the media.

That is despicable.. People always want to play the race card and abuse trial lawyers to get "free money."

..and why the hell did he apologize to Sharpton and Jackson.. Damn them.. Someone should assassinate those two. I'm sick of hearing them whine about being treated unfairly by the white folk.. Do you know what happens to white people when they enter a mostly black neighborhood?.. It is a great deal worse than when they enter our neighborhood. We need more uniters, and less dividers.

It's a big field of cotton and the whip cracka' is right there drawin' blood from mah back wit his bullwhip-- and that ain't no laffin' matta', regardlesicious of what Mistah Michael Richards thinks! Bein' a black man ain't no com-e-dee! Life is hard! Life is cruel! Life is comin' home aftah pullin' an extra shift at the factory and discoverin' yo' old lady's done drank the last 40 ounce Shlitz Malt Liq'ah and all the chitlins! That's hard!

'Flea? She ain't nuttin' but a Peruvian princess. A mestizo, a Latin American quadroon intent on marryin' a white boy so she can look down on her semi-Castillian nose at us black folk.

They need a "self defense statute" against being verbally assaulted. Race doesn't mean **** imo, if you insult someone prepare to be insulted back.

Now I am not approving what Mr. Richards said, but I do have this bone to pick.

The two "clients' *hahha* were NOT "vulnerable". These two assclowns were heckling Richards during his routine. I think it is pretty common f'ing knowledge that the LAST thing you wanna do is heckle a comedian when he is on stage, in a club, doing his routine because you KNOW you are going to be the focus of what is going to be coming out of the comedian's mouth next.

Ordinarily a comedian will berate the hell out of you, in a funny way, in front of a whole room full of people. You obstensibly open yourself up to be the "joke of the night". These two assclowns knowingly heckled him. For them to NOT know there would be some sort of retaliation is sheer idiocy. I for know when I go to a comedy club I don't even wanna make eye contact with the comedian or else you're in for it. You could be the most normal looking person in the room and a good comedian will find something to nail you on.

In any event, Mr. Richards pretty much lost his mind and I am not sure why he started in with what he did. I am sure it can be aggravating to deal with that. What he did was wrong. But, I certainly do not agree with the 2 men being "held captive" and deserving of some sort of "monetary compensation". If anything perhaps Richards should be donating the money to some sort of anti-hate/sematic cause. The two idiots should not see dollar zero and most certainly should steer clear of comedy clubs for the rest of their lives if they feel the need to heckle people.
