May you live long, and prosper. And may you avoid having your lands overrun by uptight, greedy refugees bearing gifts of disease laden blankets and addictive drugs.

Ooh, looks like someone let their premium run out!

Happy Thanksgiving folks. My girl is currently peeling the taters while I wait for my coffee to finish so I can go out in the rain and see if the grocery store is still open.

Not the Tofurkey Smiley: yikes

I survied another turkey dinner. Next year it falls on my youngest 21st birthday. Last time she had her birthday on Thanksgiving, she wanted my family all together for the day for our first holiday without my mom.

We don't do turkey at my family, so once a year I put up with it at Jonwin's family. Did the same when I was married and lived out west with ex's family. I refuse to cook it, but will do just about anything for prime rib.

Sadly, I won't be making a Tofurkey this year. =( The gravy that comes with it is pretty good though.

I am going to my cousin's downstairs from where I live and I am hoping, *hoping* that he is making a deep fried turkey.

Although I am also dreading getting down there since I have to help my 84 year old Grandma and my Mom with bad knees down a long flight of stairs. Helping them back up is worse though. Uggh.

Begining to wonder if we will surive eating turkey now. Jonwin is thinking he may need to go to the ER, as something isn't argeeing with his stomach.

Since I ate a lot less, I'm hoping I will not end up sick too. Last think I want to do is spend the night sitting in the ER, waiting to be seen. Guess we should call his family, to make sure everyone else, is ok.
