RIP Bo SchembechlerFollow

I know entire families back in Michigan that are in mourning, some members of my own among them. I'm not even a football fan, but finding out he's died is just...bizarre. He was so huge, he seemed immortal.

You would have had to live in Michigan in the 80s and early 90s to understand just how HUGE Bo Schembechler was. It just wasn't a Wolverines game without Bo yelling into his headset or ripping it off and gesticulating wildly, stomping back and forth on the sidelines and glowering. Wolverines football was never the same after he left. I honestly don't know of another college football coach (and admittedly, I'm not well-versed in the area) who had the following not just for the team but for the COACH that he had.

LOL, that's what Mr. Ambrya wants to do. He has a coworker whose wife is also pregnant (about 2 weeks behind us) and this particular coworker has a side business that does screen-printing, so Mr. Ambrya was going to propose they make up some t-shirts for me and the other pregnant lady.


Poor Bo, guess I'm the only one who's missing him here.

Also you'd have to be a mushbrained idiot who idolized a college football coach.

Probably help if you didn't attend Ohio State too.

Guess it's appropriate that OSU won this weekend's match. Both my parents are alumnus; go Buckeyes!
