Every Bond that has had all his teeth hasn't been "British".

Claiming that a dirty blonde haired guy somehow breaks with character so much that it ruins the franchise is somewhat ludicrous. It is a move, get over it. I rather have a good blonde than a flabby hair ball like Pierce Brosnan.

I saw it on Turkey day and man was it good.

I'm seeing this movie in the same light as batman begins, a new start.
I really enjoyed the fact that this was actually a believable plot. so many of the bond movies' plots are just plain crazy. My favorite bond movie of all time is from russia with love (again believable).

Daniel Craig whooped ***. hes an *** kicking machine who actually gets hurt and dishes out the hurt, that bathroom scene was great. I don't mind bond being blond, and the whole thing about him being a little thugish and not as much of a gentlemen, well i'm glad they got away from the pansy one liners of Remington Steele...
I think that Craig will settle down more and become more of a ladies man in his next couple films. Its my opinion that they wanted to put as much difference between pierce brosnan and daniel craig as possible for this film.

well thats my two cents.

I must say, i did try a mojito after i saw die another day, thats the only thing i like about that movie... mmmm mojitos...

I disagree. With the success of this film it will reinforce the idea which drove this film-- that being the Bond franchise was, for all practical purposes, dead --until it was revived by bringing the story back to the author's original intent for Bond. He was never meant to be an impervious, glib, and annoying gigilo who happens to have fancy gadgets. He was always supposed to be an intense and very human agent thrown into difficult situations that others wouldn't have had the intrepid creativity to handle.

So, no, the last thing Hollywood will do is steer the James Bond franchise back towards the elegant fop with the charming smile. Box office proceeds dictate he remain a gritty and edgy agent who radiates lethality.
