ZOMG....I GOTS DA PS3!Follow

I wonder if you'll have to break your PS3 open voiding the warranty to frequently adjust a cog to realign the disc reader, like the PS2. I personally hope Sony goes broke, and I'm honestly laughing at Microsoft's colossal losses on the XBox line (The original and 360).

I support the Nintendo Wii because instead of focusing on graphics, they've tried to be innovative with the Wii Mote, getting players hopefully more involved in the games. Knowing Nintendo, there will be a nice library of games for the system, and they'll come out with some games that aren't some derivative of everything else that's out there.

Core is pointless. If you're going to get in the pool, may as well jump in feet first.

Besides, they had a great deal on the pro system today. A real PS3 launch party spoiler. $450 CAD, you get the premium christmas pack (2 games). Plus they give you GoW and Ridge Racer 6 for free. Just couldn't pass it up.

I'm playing Mario on my NES, with my unopened PS3 laying next to me. Making it jelous. Then angry, so it plays me harder.

They're actually saying that the PS3's released in Japan are having moderate backwards compatibility issues. I can't remember where I read it, but they said that roughly 50% of older PS2 were not working at all. And I went into Best Buy on thursday to buy season 4 of the Family Guy and these dorks were camping on the sidewalk.

aye, this is the one to watch.

finally something that is actually new to game systems, a true jump in technology as opposed to bumping up the graphics....yet again....then producing 1/3 as many as you need to rape the profit margine for a while......and make sure they are not backwards compatable to force you to buy their new games at a substantial mark up.

x-box 360 and ps3 are marketing research retail whores. the whole campaign designed to rape you at every concievable angle, while not really offering you anything new, just the same ole same ole with better graphics.

the Wii is actually changing the way you play the game. getting you more involved. it is actually a step closer to true vertual reality gaming. the Wii is truly something new .....for a change.

depending on how well it is recieved might very well determine weather we see some true advancements in gaming.....or many more years of retail whores that dont give you anything you havent already seen except a little more resolution at a whopping cost that rapes you financially at many differant angles.

xbox and ps can kiss my ***** if they want my money, they are going to have to give me something new, not something rehashed. you should see the line of idiots at circuit city here, in cots camping out. over 100 of them for the 30 units they expect to get.

hype doesnt move me. entertianment does. deliver or stand aside. PS3 does not deliver anything my computer already delivers except the names of the games. the game play is the same. and for 600 bucks, i can buy a graphics card that will make PS3 and XBOX 360 look like .....well.....WoW. hehehe

the Wii is new. really new. i will have to wait till after christmas to see if it delivers what has been sorely missing in gaming for years now. something new.

We got bored with the PS3. So we bought the Wii too.

I just got the Wii yesterday as well, pretty fun stuff. I realized half way into my second boxing matchup against my son that this was definetly not a couch potato thumb work out. It was exhausting, you actually do exercise doing this stuff.

Speaking of thumbs, exercise, couches and nephy's comment; perhaps Thumbelyna's hubby ain't doing it right and she might need me to show her a few things to teach him. ;)
