Here is my problem with Dems (and frankly alot of Repubs) so called social program. They are more about giving poor handouts than about helping make them self sufficient. A good example is the Job Corps program. Alot of you have never heard of it, so allow me a sec to educate. Job Corps is a program where underprivlidaged youths (and in several programs adults) can go to a school, get free room and board, free food, and learn a valuable job skill, all for free. What is the problem you ask. Well, they are being shut down. And before you blame the "evil republicans" you might want to know that most are shut down under a democratic leadership so they can have more money for their social (handout) programs.

The poor should not be forgotten. They should be educated so that they can contribute something valuable to society. As for the ones who are to lazy to actually join these programs, let them rot in the street (or the bottom of the river if you like).

And as a side note, I cant spell worth a crap so give it a rest grammer police.

have you ever been there, I have. Don't let anyone fool you. Their social medical programs aren't what some claim they are. If you don't believe me, get outside of the cities into the country side.

Any person who supports a "death penalty" is a part of humanity that has not yet evolved(matured) neither socially or morally and may as well be living in the Stone Ages.

I have also been to Cuba. While their system is not perfect, nobody is denied treatment because of an inability to pay. But if Cuba's system doesn't quite stand up as the best example of socialized medicine try Italy's.
