Nobby, you're still living in England, aren't you?

How do you handle the time zone difference?

Last I heard he was shacking up with one of the site admins. DF I think it was this week. So ya, he's on the right side of the pond unless he found an admin closer to home.

The whole thing has me baffled really.

I wasn't sure if they were living together, but it would explain it.

By the way, Darq, my heart.. you break it, you buy it. Smiley: cry

Oh well, raiding at 5 AM isn't bad I suppose.

couldnt stomache EQ2 anymore, i dont care how many expansions they launch. just not for me.

still have 2 WoW accounts for my kids, but really cant bring myself to start playing it either. might when their new expansion hits the shelves, then again, might not. might just wait for Vanguard, if it ever launches, so i dont get burned out before it does.

bought a boat and have been de-geeking for a while. cant even find time to gloat about the repubs getting boitch slapped. wanted a hotrod, but wifey wouldnt let me get another car. so i got a boat with a big block chevy instead, hehehehe. sun, fun, and adventuring in the upper keys till i break it. hopefully, ill be fresh and looking foward to another mmorpg when vanguard launches. hopefully.

but even vanguard doesnt seem to be offering anything we all havent board ourselves to tears with already. houses, flying, grinding, bah. really ready for something totally new, but the horizon is a vast desert for the forseable future.

well, back to scouring the web for the supercharger my wife doesnt know santa is going to get me..........

Still playing both WoW and EQ2 but due to EOF just coming out last night I will be mainly there for awhile. The expansion thus far rocks. I threw some SS up in the EQ2 forum if anyone wants to get a look.

I'm actually debating now on picking up a *gasp*... console system.

I haven't owned one in years. I spent several years living in Frat-like conditions with a bunch of guys and having a console system in a house like that is like handing one slingshot to a group of 10 year olds and telling them to play nice. That's how I started computer gaming in the first place, I didn't have to fight over it with everyone else in the house because it was mine and playing on it didn't interfere with someone else watching a movie or whatever.

Now that I'm independent, I have no one to fight with. And after hanging out at a buddies and watching him play some of the cool games that are out for the X-box 360, I'm tempted to pick one up, or perhaps a Wii when those come out.

While I'm not thrilled with the idea that the X-Box 360 isn't backwards compatible for original X-Box games, I'm still thinking of asking for one for Christmas. It's a bit cheaper than the Playstation 3 and I'm not really interested in the Wii. Of course, I still need to do some more research, but I like the online capability of the X-Box 360.

I believe it's just a boat ride away, Exodus. It has low-level areas - in fact, you can make a new toon there just to check out the area if you didn't feel like bringing your main toon over there. Of course, you need to have the expansion to do so.

Guh. Level 60 raid guild. Not exactly what I had in mind, especially since I'm still playing on my ****** laptop, and going to school/working full time.

Maybe I'll level up a bit and wait until after the holidays before applying, although I'm very tempted to transfer my 41 paladin over from Shadow Council.

I picked up the EQ2 EoF expansion today for poops and giggles. I took my main over and ran through Butcher Block, Lesser Faydark, Greater Faydark, and Kelethin.
It looks pretty and all, but the whole time I'm thinking I'd rather be back in the mmorpg that shall not be named. I think my EQ2 days are really on the wane. That said, I'll pop on from time to time to explore more of Faydwer for old time's sake. I'm looking forward to exploring the Steamfont area...and the capes are spiffy.

I could pick up EOF and join y'all if I wanted to be vindictive and break up the fun within a week.

... but nah.

EOF is a whole new continent with lvl ranges from 1-70. You would have no problems there so long as you didnt accidentally pop into one of the higher up zones. A lot of people have been checking out the Fae races so there are a lot of newbies right now to play with too

Google is your friend

Yes, DIRECTLY from the box it is not. But don't tell me you ain't got highspeed yet? All ya gotta do is download a small file. Hope you got the HD with your 360 though.

Thanks for the hook-up, Molish, cheers. Smiley: boozing I'm definitely planning on getting an X-Box 360 at some point - as to how soon, though, is still up in the air. Decisions, decisions...

You can't transfer from a RP/PVE server like Shadow Council to a PvP server like Anetheron. Starting from scratch, you may not hit 60 before the expansion, or if so you wouldn't be 60 for very long, so you wouldn't be raiding much anyways.
