America has spoken and those words are ringing in my head. And who am I to disagree with the will of the people? It's time to pull out of Iraq... NOW. No waiting, no phased withdrawl. Since we are not there to win anymore we need to just pull up stakes and leave immediately.

***** the Iraqi people. If they don't have their **** together after three years, then tough ****** You shoulda been less lazy and more proactive about fixing your ****. No more waiting for Unca' Sam to do stuf for you, you lazy worthless raghead. Time to sink or swim.

So let's get on with it. Pack up and go, boys. Your countrymen have decided that what you're doing is unwinnable, so there's no point in sticking around getting shot at and blown up. Any further delays will just get more of our brave youing men and women killed.

Leave Iraq NOW!

See? Now you're talking like a conservative. No more government welfare and handouts to lazy Iraqis who can't get their shit together. Small government! Trim spending! Time for the Iraqis to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get off of Uncle Sam's teats!

Doesn't it feel GREAT to be a conservative again? Smiley: laugh

It does, indeed, FleaJo2. Obviously I was blinded by a silly altruistic desire to help others out, but now I have seen the light. No more worrying about other's plights across the globe, we need to tend to our own fences and mind our own business.

In fact I shall make this sig material. Geto out of Iraq NOW!

D'uh!

We don't have complete control of the oil there yet. Once that happens, we'll leave. But not a moment sooner!!

You have forgotten to ask for the immediate release to Cuban authorities the captives at Gitmo. To include they be given Cuban money so they may find accommodations in the peoples paradise.

Blue? No, no, no.. you're not listening. It's the Democrats who want a welfare nanny-state US protectorate where people lie content in the bosom of Lady Liberty, never needing to care for themselves or tend to their own gardens.

By throwing off the shackles of an open wallet policy in Iraq you, my friend, have finally become a Republican!

Nope, oil is not an issue here. We are losing, our boys are dying, and the people have spoken. The time to leave is yesterday, oil or no oil. We should be cuttin' and runnin' as quick as we can.

As for releasing the prisoners to the Cubans, I'm not certain I'm on board with that yet. Exit polls and elected political candidates did not show a clear mandate for that, although it seems as though water boarding is no longer allowed. So I guess that'll have to do ya.

Nope, by freeing up all that cash which would otherwise be spent on lazy, shiftless, bombing-their-own-citizens Iraqis and uncontested Halliburton contracts, we should have plenty of money to placate the teachers unions, the AFL-CIO, and welfare moms.

I'm blue, baby. Gimme a vacuum hose, a scalpel and a fist full of marriage licenses-- I'm ready to start abortin' fetuses and marryin' pole smokers.

Look at it this way, Totem, and it's just so simple: When we pull out of Iraq, the mess on her thigh shall be just this civil war, which like any predictable albeit accidental discharge will eventually dry up on its own, given time. The key is just to keep it out of Iraq's hair, because that can be really messy, but I don't think you need to betray your politics to recognize that.

Hmmm. [:Thinking Smiley:] How about we ordain them and have them teach courses at Berkley? There is a great deal they could teach a new group of students I'm thinking. They have been studying heavily at Gitmo and I'm sure they would be given a doctorate in diversity from there.

I'd suggest Alabama but fear Dr. Carver and his "boys" would probably put them in White Vestments and invite them to a team bon fire they'd be so welcome. Hey they've invited Abdul Kareem Jabar to lecture and study though for some reson I don't think they'd appreciate "Brothers in Arms" as much as I did.

And no way this ***** is letting his stetson get wet I'll stick with a slick over a nice ocean of sand thank you. I keep the row boat for Walleye and Perch and only use DuPont Kevlar from K-Mart on the darned Zebco fishing real. Let me be perfectly clear. Go Army, Beat Navy (yeah I know the darned record of late and catch more Hell from my family), darned Jar Heads. They even have me advertising for them...I've become a freaking Night Elf Toy Farmer. I spent 23 yr in the (Navy) protecting **** birds like you.
Bye yourself a gun because when we leave a job unfinished we
will just have to go back in later to finish the job over there.

I don't like killing young Americans, but the military has to
finish the job NOW. Or when we (GOP) wins again in 08...

That WW2 was a war about oil and bagels. The **** wanted more oil, and the krauts did not want any more bagels.

France took the right stance by declaring war on war. "We'd rather die than fight another war", was what many people might have said at the time.

And boy, did we show them.
