No Premium = No Bewbies

I owe them it to the world.

Yes it sucks that 'the corporation' has let Alla/Us down on servers and stuff.

It's also a pity that we've had to wait for this thread for folks like Kao & Dana to give (IMHO) credible and personable answers.

I don't post from work (not sure if I can, but given I have a responsibility for appropriate Systems usage I have to walk the walk). Plus, when I'm working, I'm working.

I found this place as an EQ addict and was amazed by the content, and the access to a network of fellow minded newds.

Having discovered =4 I've stuck around despite falling away from games.

Now I'm getting bitten by the WoW bug I'm reminded how good the site can be for gamers.

My Premium auto-renews end of the month.

So the Bewbs aren't going away.

Honestly, I've been so crazy occupied in the last few months both at work and in RL (sarah had a kidney stone, but she's better now, plus wedding plans, plus the iceland fanfest trip), that I had no idea how far behind other things were getting. The only forums I ever have any time to read are this one and feedback, except when people PM me complaints about other ones =/

So, if I'm reading this right, to get you to spend more time here, you need more complaints?

Asylumites, start your engines!

Thank you for the peek at the updates guys. I saw Bhodi has already linked it there for the other non Asylum vets.

I think all we're looking for is just acknowledgement that when someone asks a valid question pertaining to the site, even if it cant be answered fully, just a comment so we know you know we're interested in how things are going.

Any time I think I might have bad breath I visit the new EQ2 template. I come away feeling minty fresh.

I won't comment on anything else in here except the Eve site. It's still in beta. We have a few hangups that actually have nothing to do with us in any way at all. My understanding is that we're waiting on something from CCP.

If there are things that bare broken on the Eve site, would you mind posting it in the eve forum? The whole database is full of exceptions that need to be coded and I know we missed some. Drones not showing damage yet in the item pages is one of them.

Anyway... talk of Eve on the eve forum. Talk of minty freshness belongs here!

theyre great, but lack of response and updates for one of my games is just getting to be too much. Not to mention the promises that have yet to be kept for said gaming area, and still a lack of any info on this site.
------------------------------------------------------------------

i feel your pain.

but consider this,
the info they post here mainly comes from players. ie, no incoming information from the masses, nothing to update. you want a site for another game? how much info has been submitted for that game? enough to fill a website?

it doesnt matter how much info is out there, what matters is how much info is submitted.

look at other sites, like everlore, or casters relm. ALL of them are dyeing or dead, like the games themselves. the flood of massive amounts of info comming in every day when EQ1 was in its glory are gone. hell, even the sony page is seriously lacking. info from gamers on teh official gamming web pages from other games make them not worth visiting twice.

alakahzams is the best there is. yes, its lacking. the info for EQ2 really blows, but that is not their fault, its the lack of incomming info from the players. and that is a result because the games themselves are evershrinking(hehehe).

WoW is the only game out right now with an appreciable amount of players. the rest have degraded into niche games with a small loyal playerbase, adn they dont post info to anywhere but their guild websites.

allakahazams can only be as informative as its fan base. it is a mirror of us, the players. if we dont put up the info, there is no info to be put up. and as lacking as it is, there is none better. mmorpgs are facing a slump. it is not as energized as it once was.

before you go bashing them, visit the other big sites. if you find one better, bash away.

Thanks for the nickname of "minty". I hadn't thought of it as a mint, but now that's what we're calling it!

Yeee!

Oh, and I'm glad you guys like the build. :D

From Hell's Heart I stab at thee.

But anyway, just check out O-Gaming and see a better site for info on EQ II.

Which after the merger won't be a problem anyway.

And recently with three instances per new zone (with about 100 players per instance), I'ld doubt that the game is "evershrinking". Again, but anyway.

Never before have so many people played mmorpg's, but sure, we're facing a "slump". Smiley: oyvey(darn, I wish I still had emotes, now that's a good reason to subscribe again, that and the fact that EQ II is still considered a viable part of the site, no matter who would like to think otherwise right shadow?)
