but consider this,
the info they post here mainly comes from players. ie, no incoming information from the masses, nothing to update. you want a site for another game? how much info has been submitted for that game? enough to fill a website?
it doesnt matter how much info is out there, what matters is how much info is submitted.
look at other sites, like everlore, or casters relm. ALL of them are dyeing or dead, like the games themselves. the flood of massive amounts of info comming in every day when EQ1 was in its glory are gone. hell, even the sony page is seriously lacking. info from gamers on teh official gamming web pages from other games make them not worth visiting twice.
alakahzams is the best there is. yes, its lacking. the info for EQ2 really blows, but that is not their fault, its the lack of incomming info from the players. and that is a result because the games themselves are evershrinking(hehehe).
WoW is the only game out right now with an appreciable amount of players. the rest have degraded into niche games with a small loyal playerbase, adn they dont post info to anywhere but their guild websites.
allakahazams can only be as informative as its fan base. it is a mirror of us, the players. if we dont put up the info, there is no info to be put up. and as lacking as it is, there is none better. mmorpgs are facing a slump. it is not as energized as it once was.
before you go bashing them, visit the other big sites. if you find one better, bash away.
From Hell's Heart I stab at thee.
But anyway, just check out O-Gaming and see a better site for info on EQ II.
Which after the merger won't be a problem anyway.
And recently with three instances per new zone (with about 100 players per instance), I'ld doubt that the game is "evershrinking". Again, but anyway.
Never before have so many people played mmorpg's, but sure, we're facing a "slump".

(darn, I wish I still had emotes, now that's a good reason to subscribe again, that and the fact that EQ II is still considered a viable part of the site, no matter who would like to think otherwise right shadow?)
