Mine expires next month, and I'm on the fence as to whether I should renew or not. If I do, it's because I like looking at my avi.

Mine expires in the new year. I won't renew right away but eventually I'll break down. So it goes.

How do they get their information? Is it player submitted? If it's player submitted then the problem is with the EQ2 posters not submitting anything to be added.

their DB is so behind that they said when Ogaming was brought over they were going to overhaul the entire DB. That was promised to us by August. Stuff has been submitted, but they wanted to overhaul it anyways. But nothing has been done, things are so far behind, and we now have a new expansion coming out tomorrow which will back everything up DBwise even more so. Silence is the answer whenever we ask whats up, no matter what forum we ask it in. Old timers are still there but starting to look for new places. New players had come over after the merge, but left due to * gasp* lack of any updated info. The forums over there are a ghost town and its sad. Not lack of people wanting to help out ( the vets) but because newer players go to other sites for their information. Why bother posting at a site with no info on the game you play? And its sad to see such a loss of potential people due to the lack of interest on overhauling the DB as promised

I think you're missing why many asylum posters pay for premium. I'm certain we have at least one poster here who has never played any of the games on Allakhazams. Sure it may be kind of lame to some people to play an online game and post messages on a forum that has info on your game, but it's sure as hell less lame than posting on said site having never played any of the supported games.

You're all here making alter egos to make up for the parts of you lacking in your real life. Sure, I spend time here aswell, face it, we're all bromidic.

Though there isn't any visible difference, the devs are working on stuff. EQII being on the top 3 of things that need to be finished.

Most I can do is apologize for the delay, though. They really are working their tails off (metaphorically, pervs.)

I've seen the beta site for EQII, and I have to admit, the wait will be well worth it in the end. Smiley: grin

Not if you loose your customer base to some other website, due to the delays and lack of response.

If this is the case I wouldn't expect DSD to pony up the dough for premium until she actually sees the results.

It kind of reminds me of when I was in construction. There are jobs you do that take very little time but a huge difference in what the customer sees. Then there are jobs you do that take forever but the customer doesn't physically see anything or at least very little.

It sounds like they're doing something. However since you're keeping your customers in the dark and giving them the silent treatment when you promised a date that's already passed is not good and you're getting bad rep for it. At least keep them up to date and give screenshots or a glimpse of something, especially when you're passed your promised date.

Sure some of us have lax jobs, but that's not what I was talking about, erwigge, we both know posters make time to post here. The only difference being some have time to spare, others cut into their work time to post, and still others find something to cut into their work time, it just so happens that the majority of the time it's this site.

So you've proven that work is boring and Forum=4 beats Windows Solitaire. God damn, you're deep!

Don't forget I've proven that we all have questionable work ethic, whether we do our jobs well or not, we could undoubtedly get it done quicker if we weren't on this site. Next, I wasn't talking just about the work-related parts of our lives that are lacking, some posters are job-less, some post from home after working, some post from home having already posted while at work, some post when they should be going to bed to get ready for work/school/orgy/wine tasting/karate class...

Don't get all giddy though, you're only a little bit better than Solitaire.

Just a little...

I finally figured out that this thread is the reason I have "I'm all out of love, I'm so lost without you..." stuck in my head.

I hate you NW.

Kenny Rogers huh?

On a warm summers evenin on a train bound for nowhere,
I met up with the gambler; we were both too tired to sleep.
So we took turns a starin out the window at the darkness
til boredom overtook us, and he began to speak.

He said, son, Ive made a life out of readin peoples faces,
And knowin what their cards were by the way they held their eyes.
So if you dont mind my sayin, I can see youre out of aces.
For a taste of your whiskey Ill give you some advice.

So I handed him my bottle and he drank down my last swallow.
Then he bummed a cigarette and asked me for a light.
And the night got deathly quiet, and his face lost all expression.
Said, if youre gonna play the game, boy, ya gotta learn to play it right.
