Slow day at work with the 3 day weekend coming up. Actually, don't want to work and browsing Sephora for makeup and perfumes.

For the guys, what perfumes/scents that a woman wears just grabs your attention. And for the gals, what's your favorite scent? I need a new scent. I've been wearing Victoria's Secret scents for too long and need a change.

Oh, and does anyone have good plans for this weekend?

I almost never wear perfume, but if I do, it has to be something very light and not at all flowery.

I have been waiting for Stacked Style's Fuji Flower to come back in stock so I can go get that. I don't think it'll ever get back on the shelves. Smiley: cry

Smiley: lol

I do have to say though, that on a man, Armani's Acqua di Gio is my Kryptonite. I just get all quivery as soon as I catch a scent of that.

I guess that means I should buy that for the hubby.

And the classy lasses, this.

Tova. (There's also a nighttime fragrance that's a little more... more.)

Also, Origins has a perfume that's very light and gingery.

I like things that smell clean and fruity.
In the summer I used to exclusively wear LoveSpell by Victoria's Secret. Now I alternate between Miami Glow/Clean in the Summer and C'est rien que du bonheur/Red by Hugo Boss in the Winter. I'll wear year-round.

I used to wear Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male for the Longest Time, now I wear this both are nice. For the wifey wore Escada Rockin Rio for awhile, thats a great Spring/Summer smell, now she is into Hanae Mori Butterfly Link. I tend to get weak in the knees when she sprays it.

I usually use Clinique Happy body lotion but if I'm going to wear perfume it'll usually be an oldie but a goodie, like Obsession by Calvin Klein.

As much as I hate to admit it, a lady I drink with wears Curious by Brittany Spears. It does things in the nether regions that aren't healthy to keep bottled up (could be I just like the smell of trailer ******.)

I tend to wear scents that are more woody and spicy rather than sweet florals. My other requirement is that the scent not be assaultive. Light, fresh, subtle are my watchwords (well, where perfume is involved at least).

Anything that screams "notice me!" or "hey mister, over here!" or "hope you've got your allergy meds with you!" is just not my style.

My favourite girl perfume is L'eau d'Issey by Issey Myake.

An ex-girlfrie wore it, and I absolutely loved it. Everytime I smell it in the tube or in the street, it makes my stomach all funny...

The smell of Cerutti 1881 brings back memories.

Lately there's an aroma from Victoria's Secret that still drifts from the bed linen and the car that makes me smile quietly to myself.

Used to wear Aramis in my yoof, but for the last few years I only use 'Activist' from Body Shop.

To me, one light whiff of most perfumes and colognes, is like snorting flaming napalm. I think the very worst one I've ever smelled is Poison. It smells exactly the Raid, the insecticide.

I avoid wearing colognes myself as a result. One that I do use, and my wife loves, is Armani Mania. My father wore one calle Zizanie, the smell of which I loved, but I haven't seen it for sale anywhere for decades.

Of course, having said that I should probably google it and see if its still made.... which it turns out they do, and its commonly available on line. Gonna hafta get me some now.
