Yay! Conservatives get pimpslappedFollow

That's what Power is all about, lesser numbers over greater numbers. Why bother 'Polling', otherwise? Not to mention, Judges themselves, ratifying, laws.

It will more than be the day, when the corporation builds the facility, and We the People vote it to be divided back to the original bamboozled pwners. It doesn't get any more middle-finger than that to a particular Super-Duper Supreme Court Justice than that. On the Found-er-ry Floor.

Fashion is all about when we hike the Fillibuster up, and when we shy the Fillibuster down. On three. Break! ;p

P.S. Kilts!

Like that too wasn't a call to democratic action in its day? But yes, again, as fresh as a Foghat concert. Can I pull the fork out of you now? You're more than done.

Actually Foghat is still fresh. Classic stuff, son. Fool for the City will never get old.

Here's the situation, Mono. Your takes have a whiff of ADD about them. Either that or you've been imbibing in your stash of LSD, because your thought process is difficult --at the very least -- to follow. Posting random thoughts on top of more random thoughts don't make for a tremendously coherent argument. Trust me on this, as you and I are the only ones on this board right now, I am reading each of your posts, but most of what you type is leaving me baffled. Props to you if that is your intent.

"Candy. Panda yellow walks sno-cones in Hamlet straight to the Dem/pols eating car tires."

Uhhhh, yeah. Ok.

Might I suggest you slow down, focus on your target audience, and make a coherent statement. While I'm not one to rate people, others are, and they will sub-default unreadable **** in a heartbeat. Just sayin', dawg.

Yeah? Who needs coherent argument when I subdue at a single post an issue like minimum-wage?

I'll give you Fool for the City :P. Das-Sub-Default. I've seen the scrip. {/yawn}

Anyway, was fun, even if you can't accurately quote/read. I stand by every Word. Always. That's why You. They. Them. Everybody, everybody, re-/reads my posts. Peace.

Our representative democracy was not designed to ensure the majority got their way. These state referendums are totally against the grain of the founders intentions. The purpose of representation over majority rule is to ensure the protection of minorities.

Read the 9th amendment. Read the history behind it. If not of the 9th amendment the rest of the bill of rights wouldn't exist, because our founders believed that an enumerated list of rights could be used AGAINST the people to withhold any rights they missed, forgot, or just hadn't come up yet.

The 9th amendment is THE everything else cause. It's you have the right to whatever we missed. It's the womens rights amendment. It's the gay rights amendment. It's everything. (Don't ask me why the gays don't fly the 9th on their flags - I think they're stupid not to - It is THE answer to their problems.)

You act as if majority rule is a good thing. Let's go back to England before the people who refused to follow the Church of England were kicked out... What if England had a direct democracy at that time (majority rule), do you think anything would have happened differently? It wouldn't have, because at the time the majority in England wanted them out as much as the government. The American settlers would have been kicked out by the majority. Our states had this in mind when they wanted a bill of rights written - protecting, not the majority, but MINORITIES, to make sure that BS never happened in this country. To ensure that the majority, could never take away the rights of the minority.

Read the 9th amendment, and why it exists...
