But hey. I can toss random sites for my cites as well (hah. funny!):

These guys talk about Dem voter fraud in general

And this site has a bunch of stories collected about various forms of voter and registration fraud commited by Dems.

I could probably toss several dozen links at you, but this is probably enough for you to get the point. While we only seem to hear about voter fraud in the context of the "evil Republicans" stealing the election, the fact is that there are at least as many allegations for the opposite occuring (and the first link implies that a study showed much more going on from Dems during 2004, not Republicans).

Which do you believe? Is that not going to be a function of which party you happen to side with? Which is why I initially started by simply referring to the tin-foil hatness of the earlier linked article. Because I know that it's just as easy for me to make the opposite claim.

Maybe it might help if we stop with the blind generalizations and assumptions?

Yeah. I made the tin-foil hat reference to my own post on accident. Really!

After reading so many news reports today of problems in so many states using new electronic voting machines for the first time, I'm no longer worry that it was a plot to allow hacking of votes.

All they had to do was make a law that required states to buy new machines and then expect under trained workers to create havoc.

Dare I say that for as long as I could remember, my mom was an election judge?

She didn't make it to 75 years old though, so I guess you'd call her an apprentice.

C'mon, paaulsol, that's just common sense to require identification to vote. As it stands right now in California anyone can go into a vote polling place with the name of a local townsperson and vote using their name. The only thing stopping him would be the person holding the sheet of paper which has the names of everyone registered to vote in the local area who ostensibly would know the real voter on sight and keep the faker from using his name.

As it is there is a ballot initiative to require a picture ID to vote. It's a good idea.

Not likely. I hate the troops too. Also children. Kittens as well.

Don't even get me started on people who own poodles.

I know this is just silly, but...

Cite please?

Now you're getting the point!

Ask yourself why you're demanding a cite of my tin-foil hat conspiracy theory, but gave the one presented earlier a pass. Think *realllly* hard.

Cause...it existed?
