I have never in all my years, and all dealings with any company I have ever dealt with, seen such a display of incompetance, arrogance, rudeness, indifference and utter and complete idiocy. A failure at all levels. "Exponential incompetance"

To anyone considering getting DirecTV, if you can actually successfuly GET it installed, the service (as in, the dish and DVR receiver itself)is okay, but it's a damn shame that you have to deal with a company like that to aquire said service.

For comparison, I am a former Adelpiha customer... and DirecTV CS is much worse even than Adelpiha, which before now I did not even believe was possible.

I actually told the rep on the phone when asked "what can we do to make this right?" that they should "liquidate the company and commit mass-sepuku"...

What a disgrace. Let this serve as a warning to others... it is a blight on humanity and the stench of this attrocity reeks to high heaven in fumes of shame.

How about not painting an entire company black because you had an bad experience asshat?

I love DirecTV. They are friendly and helpful on the phone. I got my equipment two days sooner then they expected me to and the techs showed up on time. They had to come out three different times, at no charge. Each time they came out, they offered up solutions quickly. I had a tree in line with the satalite and every time it moved it messed up my reception. They offered to trim a few branches off a tree and did, they offered to extend the dish higher and did all free of charge. I have great reception now and no problems.

How about not painting a company "great" just because they kissed your ***. I consider it a living miracle, as profound as virgin mary grilled cheese, that they even showed up at your place, but maybe you live in a different area than me. I know the difference between one bad apple in an otherwise good company, and a complete failure at every level of their oprational structure.

The dishes and boxes and DVR's are all fine and good, if you can deal with the contractors they use to handle their "installs" and actually aquire said equipment. I'm glad you had a good experience, but me.. I have never seen worse.

Fort Lauderdale, FL not paved enough? Should I set up shop on the tarmac at the airport or something? I'm not sure what you are getting at.

First thing I'm going to do when I get off work today is turn on adult swim. Then I'll open a cold one and flip through a hundred channels and turn off the tv because nothing good is on.

When making an assertion such as "DIRECTV has the worst customer service in history," it is best to back this up with a fact or at least some antectodal evidence to support your opinion. I'm not going to argue that DirecTV doesn't have the worst customer service in history, but you really haven't offered anything to convince me.

For example, if I were to state "That ****** Joujouka is the biggest waste of bandwidth on teh interwebs," no one would argue against me since my statement is likely true. However, my point would be better made if I provided a link to this thread.

Now that I see you've resorted to personal attacks, I accept your unconditional surrender.

Consider yourself warned about DirecTV.

i didnt think it could possibly get worse than Adelphia.

that said, direct TV can kiss my ***** when they came out, it was decent, you could get basic service for about 20 bucks a month. now, they charge as much if not more than cable....because they can........

what? new equipment? you suggesting they launched another satilite?

they do it cause they can. price gouging vermin. i remember the days of c-band, when you could get a dozen differant services, including direct TV for 10 to 15 bucks a month. that is, till direct TV bought them up one by one, then began scrambeling their signal. 3000 bucks for a dish in the toilet for thousands of americans......just cause they could. advertizing dollars wasnt enough. they want to suck the life blood of every day people too, just because they can......

Check the signature. Druid, Moonfire and AQ40? Does that seem like Final Fantasy to you?

Joujouka shut the @#%^ up! You have got to be the dumbest nonsensical ignorant @#%^ poster on these forums.
“Ohh no DTV was mean to mean because they won’t get me scat **** like I want” We really don’t @#%^ing give a sh*t. Maybe if they are such a terrible company you should just shut your little ***** mouth and take your business back to your sh*tty little inner city cable company where you can watch your fuzzy picture and download all of the “mother sucks his son’s **** ****” like you fantasize about.

But that won’t happen, I’m willing to bet whatever “terrible customer service experience you had” you are probably still a @#%^ing DTV customer. Because you don’t like to initiate change, you just like to sit your *** at a @#%^ing computer screen all day long and ***** about your life is so @#%^ing terrible because the DTV rep won’t drive 6000 miles from India and your 3 inch *****.

How do I know you so well? Because you are a @#%^ing whining piece of sh*t, I’m sure it’s all you do with your life, god forbid you actually make a constructive post like “I had a bad experience because of reason A or B” Ohh no no, you are such a shut in little @#%^ that when you make a post on the @#%^ing internet you don’t even have the @#%^ing balls to tell us what happened, because you yourself can’t even conceive a @#%^ing reason why you should be upset, I’m sure the fact of the matter is you called up being some kind of passive aggressive @#%^ing douche and the rep on the phone didn’t pick up on that and give you whatever @#%^ing pathetic thing would placate you till the Little League World series was back so you would have something to ********** too.

And why ***** here? Simple because I’m sure you don’t even have the @#%^ing balls to tell someone OVER THE PHONE why you are upset. You have led such a sheltered pathetic life that the mere thought of speaking to the correct person about your problem makes you want to **** yourself.

Grow a @#%^ing sack you stupid piece of sh*t, because I guarantee no matter how @#%^ing self important you think you are because you somehow saved $40 worth of quarters a month for sucking **** at the local VFW nobody else on this entire @#%^ing planet cares, not DTV, not your parents who wish you had killed yourself years ago, not anyone on the @#%^ing internet.

I’m willing to bet if you lit yourself on fire in front of the DirecTV corporate offices they still wouldn’t give a sh*t how terribly you perceived you were treated. So SHUT…THE…@#%^…UP!!
