I was diagnosed with sinus debris and told I am going to have surgery in two weeks.
3 sets of sinus will get balloon sinuplasty, it's like angioplasty but for your sinus. What happens is the balloon gets inserted, inflated and when it inflates makes tiny fractures in the sinus bones which in turn enlarges the sinus opening.
I am still researching google etc. but I wondered if anyone, besides Dana's aunt has had this, or any sinus surgery and what happened. The Dr. said my openings are very tiny and mentioned that one set of sinus he can't do this on and will have to "go in and manually removed the debris" blah blah blah. That is the part that scares me; scars!
So tell me what you know, or have experienced. I will be back after the demerol takes out my migraine for the day. Ta-ta.
