Work Drama ReduxFollow

Today as I'm driving in I almost rear-ended a CPD patrolcar, which is a good thing b/c that car would have then hit like six others- and that's just how many were parked on the side of the street. When I come in, I check with the front desk staff, and there's a cop stationed there. When I ask waht's up with half of the CPD using us for valet, she asks if I know what happened last night.

Apparently, this happened.


Now we have cops out our wazoo, one at every door, b/c some genius thought it would be the thing last night to rush our ER and try to off a cop. Add to that my ER Interpreter called in sick last night, and I have no backup for him until 10am--so guess who's in the ER till then...

well glad you were not there when it happened, sorry you are having to deal with that kind of craziness today at work.

ED is kind of slow. I have a few moments at my desk so I'll try to get some work done. The cops actually make me feel better than our usual force, so at least that's something.

The worse work drama I can have is when my post-it notes don't stick to my papers.
