If it's Walmart, they will. Last year I bought a "new" air humidifier from Walmart, that when I opened it the filter report light was already on, it came with no manual, it was all scratched up. and two of the lines on the LED panel were busted. New, my ***.

Yeah, I know a few people who used to work the Wal-Mart return counter. They'll even take back used underwear.

One more reason not to shop at Wal-Mart.

I keep the recipt, use it to take the $$$ out of my account via check register (I like my balance in real-time), and then throw it away if I'm reasonably sure I'll hold on to the item. If I'm buying a gift, either for Christmas or a birthday, I'll hold on to it until I'm sure the recipient won't need it, about a month or so, usually. I haven't always been so conscious of my cash, but I've learned to be.

This is very simple. If you don't keep the receipt, don't try to take the crap back. If it is a large $ purchase and you don't keep the receipt, then you are a dumb a$$ who deserves to be cheated

sorry for mispellings, typing fast minus one finger.

This one guy wanted a refund because the wine he had bought had gone sour or whatever happens to wine when it goes bad. I understand him, because he paid about $100 for it, but he didn't have the receipt. Is he a nancy for wanting a $100 refund? I don't think so, I mean, I'd want the refund as well. But he should've kept the receipt.

Any asshat that buys a $100 bottle of wine from a supermarket deserves to have a corked bottle. It doesn't make him a nancy, it makes him an ignorant ****.

Personally, my receipt either goes in the bag or, in the winter, my inside coat pocket. I try to keep them just in case what I bought isn't up to snuff. Recently I purchased a pack of T-shirts and upon opening them up two of the three were torn. I don't care about getting my money back so much as I wanted the ******* t-shirts that I bought.
