One of the many reasons I love my wife....Follow

After discussing my upcoming b-day (11/12 for all you fans out there*), my wife told me that she was going to buy my a new monitor for my computer. Sweet! She didn't know what to pick out, so we went to the store last night.

I found this. ViewSonic. I figured the price was pretty inexpensive, not bad refresh rate, contrast ratio, etc.

After kicking me in the nuts and calling me a friggin ****** in front of the CompUsa guy, she made me buy this.

I know, there is probably some site where I could have saved $20, but then I wouldn't have been able to walk out of the store and blast some "god-damn krauts" on a big *** screen that night.

Go me.

* Gifts on my list still available for purchase:
Power Rangers Deluxe Manticore Megazord
Power Rangers Mystic Force Titan Megazord
Bob the Builder Vehicles - Muck or Scoop
PLEASE tell me when you buy me one of these so I can mark it off my list.
THKS!

I hope you learned a valuable lesson here, Neph. Women are just plain smarter.

Don't miss the underlying message either. She wants another baby.

After travelling cross-country with a 7 mo old, she is pretty happy with just one. Well, content.

No more babies for us. Babies are the debil.

Did you spend the extra $50 on the replacement plan? Cause if you did they will do their best to ***** you if anything happens in the 2yrs. If you did be sure to read the fine print in the booklet to see all the stuff that isn't covered.

You gullible twit! You just got played. She's gonna be wanting something soon, and when you want to buy her something nice, she'll want something for which you'll have to take out a seconed mortgage on the house to afford.

I got a ViewSonic VA1912wb widescreen. The monitor rocks my only complaint with it is the squirrelly looking birds that are in the frame; top-left. There is no way I'd go back to CRT or a screen that isn't widescreen.

QFT. Nice thing about my Dell UltraSharp 2005FP 20.0 Inch Wide Flat Panel, I made sure I got the 3-year warranty - if anything goes bad on it, I just call Dell and they send me a replace and I send back the bad monitor in the new one's box. Schweet!
