is doing better than Uruguay (57) Congo (73) and Liberia (84). But they are not doing as well as Croatia (54) Mozambique (47) or even Lithuania at (27).

Interestingly, to some of us anyway, the USA was 17th in 2002, when the study was first compiled. Wonder what happened since then to stuff up the free speech so badly? I really can't begin to imagine.....

Everything I know about Lithunaia I learnt from Latka. The taxi driver.

I confess that some of the information I got from him may now be outdated....

Thread hijack time.

You live in New Zealand, paulsol, but where? There is a job in Auckland that wants to make use of my eyepopping skills with lengthy stick-like objects that reside between my ebony legs. The pay for my wigglesticking skills seems adequate, the weather and people seem nice, and the auxillary incidentals associated with my job like sea rescue work and NODS also seem nice.

Bear in mind I live in California where the pace of life is rather fast. Would you think I'd like it? Could the Kiwis handle the Alabama Black Snake?

I think you'd like NZ, personally. Gorgeous country, very nice people, fairly conservative for the most part.

However the pace of life is very, very rural compared to Cali. Not in a bad way - there's a ton to do outdoors.

That's my impression, anyway.

Well the requirement is for 2,000 hours and I have 9k+, so flight time wouldn't be an issue. They fly an old model shoebox, so that isn't terribly exciting, especially considering I'm commanding the latest and greatest in Eurocopter's fleet. I dunno. The peripherals would have to be good.
