Saturday is the the wife and I's 3rd annual Halloween Extravaganza. And for the second year in a row, it will be taking place a day after we put one of our grandparents into the ground. I am expecting it to go pretty much like it did last year. A goodly amount of flashing, with the occasional "teabag the passed out guy" thrown in for spice. Much Alcohol/many jello shots shall be consumed, and a good time had by all. Until the next morning...

I suggest you go as a RDM.

I don't think there is one, but I'd win anyway 'cause Snoopy rules when it comes to Halloween.

Seriously.

I have some early pics cause we went pumpkin picking last weekend. I wanted to buy a white one and an orange one, but carrying 1 infant and 1 pumpkin does not mix. Hubby was tending to the extremely fussy daughter and grumpily holding our pumpkin, so I have to just go buy one at the market so that I can make a cool ghost carving pumpkin too.

I used to retain my British resistance to the Americanisation of an ancient tradition. As a child, we'd bob for apples and tell Ghost stories around the fire. I was born and raised not far from Pendle so we had real stories of witchcraft and burnings to recount.

Now I've warmed to the American concept of making children beg from street to street an acceptable social activity.

I now keep a bag of 'bite size' Mars, Snickers etc by the door.

And I have found that if I'm careful, I can fit 2 habanero chillis into each tempting piece of confectionery Smiley: sly

Oh how their little faces scrunch!

I'm goin drinkin on Saturday, I'll hopefully have Saturday off or else I'll be calling in "sick" for my midnight shift. After 2 months of not being able to blow off some steam because of work and school, I'm going to snap on someone if I don't get to go out and party.

Pics will be provided.

Went to a party Saturday night. I was dressed as a bolt. My wife dressed as a nut. I got pretty loud and obnoxious. I am not apologetic. Smiley: cool

The continued highlight of my evening was that every female wanted to play with my bolt. (which pressed directly onto the real one)

Perverted thrills ftw!

Sorry for lack of pics, but I went to a party Sat night. Was going to go as a knocked up Nun, but the costumes they had left for that was one size and the models were all 5'8" and 110 lbs. I didnt think me and my tummy could quite fit well into it. Instead I went a s a loose moraled tavern wench, complete with stein. Hubby went as Vlad Dracula, the historical figure, not the fictional vampire. Both of us I think will be dressing up tomorrow so Ill try and get pics then.

Best costume there went to a friend of mine from high school. He came wearing a giant banana costume and a huge afro. He was the hairy banana Smiley: lol

I totally ache all over after this weekend. We went to the UH football game where we routed Idaho 68-10 and took baby girl with us to see if she likes it. She held up really well and people loved her cheerleader/Halloween costume outfit. The walk back to the car was up this longass hill and so now my legs hurt. Then I carved our pumpkin, which made my arms feel like falling off. I started working on the candy corn cookies that I'm going to give to the kids at the sitters and they came out really cute! It was so late that I could only bake up a small test batch, but they look so awesome!! :) I will post pics probably Wednesday.

And Mental, it's been quite a while since I've been rookie enough to cross thread anything. Besides, when that happens ya don't admit to it.
