Whose it gonna be?
Detroit Tigers:19 (44.2%)
St. Louis Cardinals :5 (11.6%)
Baseball ended when Football began:19 (44.2%)
Total:43

Im just happy no NY team made it. Its great how frustrated these people around here get when a NY team loses.

Yanks.

I am the Yanks/Giants/Knicks/Rangers New Yorker.

Those Mets/Jets/Nets/Devils fans just smell silly to me

I'll have to root for the Tigers. I might even watch them play too, especially since a buddy of mine is a Detroit fan, and he doesn't have much to look forward to for football.

The only sports that havn't been completly tainted are yachting, soccer and croquet. You can forget about baseball, football and basketball.

Did you know that basketball was created by a Canadian Professor and was played predominanly by rich white men? What is the world coming to! Smiley: disappointed

Tigers will wipe the Cardinals out, and they'll use both hands.

Curling is still pure.

Yeah, you wouldn't want those darkies dirtying up your TV all weekend. Good call!

That would have made sense, except he's got a brownie already 'dirtying up' the sheets. Smiley: laugh

Baseball fell off with me after the last strike. Last thing that brings me to any stadium is a bunch of whiny rich boys bitching about how much more money they want.

Maybe he should start using two hands to wipe.

The baseball season, for me, begins and ends with the Red Sox. Which means I usually give up shortly after the All-Stear break when they start to slide and the Yank-mes go on their run. Though I'm glad that Detroit beat the crap out of the Yanks, I'm a bit disappointed about the Amazins' last-minute defeat.

So, on to the football season, which rarely lasts me until my birthday (Nov. 10) since I'm Gang Green.
