Brian Urlacher and the entire Bear's defense deserve a parade down Lake Shore Drive, and Devin Hester deserves a fücking medal.

absolutely unreal. you know you're having a good season when you pull out a win like that. 9/10 times, rackers makes that kick. oh well, gotta give props to leinart, he played a great game. the kid's gonna be allright.

That was an insane turn around. I was definately pleasantly surprised that it turned out to be such a great game. Leinart looks great for a rookie, and I bet Arizona stays competitive throughout the season.

Helluva game. I only had the Bears DST left to play in Fantasy land. At first I was winning, at the half I was losing, and went back up big!

I actually feel bad for Arizona.

That was a sick game. I never counted Chicago out of it, but to do it with no offensive scores is just crazy. I bet that kicker wants to put a bullet in his head this morning.

Green should put a bullet in his head. 15 seconds left in the third quarter and you try to do a pass when you are inside your own 20. He deserved to be slapped for that one. Do a dive up the middle with James and keep on playing into the 4th quarter. You are leading by freaking 20 points and can't sit on the ball.

Soon as I saw Leinart get sacked and the touchdown scored I turned off the TV and went to bed, I already knew Chicago was going to win.

I'm guessing it's the orange you have a problem with, since navy blue usually isn't considered ugly. And orange can be fine if, like religion, it's used in moderation.

Amazing game! I have to say I did give up hope there, especially with all the pathetic turnovers from Grossman, one after the other.

But yeah, a parade is in order for the Defense and Special Teams.

LOL after sucking Leinharts d*ck the entire game it was such a pleasure to watch the Bears win w/o scoring a touchdown offensively. And for the record no team in the history of football, until now, had ever come back from a 20pt deficit w/o scoring an offensive touchdown.

Lienhart is pitiful; mr Hollywood should go back there and get into the movie business his career in football is going nowhere.

PROOF

His career sure is sucking, the 13th ranked QB in the league right now. Well above his counter-part Vince Young and beating the sh*t out of players such as Ben Appendisberger and Michael "one dimensional" Vick.

bleh, the link works perfect on this end

Thats after 2 games. Most QB have played at least 5 games, some 6. The QB rating doesn't calculate QB like Mike Vick and Vince Young very well cause the QB rating only calculates Passing. It doesn't account for what Mike Vick does for his team. It's like comparing a guy who played 1 game of baseball and went 2 for 5 and batted .400 and another who played 10 games and batted 350. We wouldn't know who would have a higher batting average if they both played 10 games so you're logic is flawed my friend. That is all

True true true ... but if you had paid attention his stats are fairly comparable to the people I compared him against. His passing attempts are within 30 of both Burger and Vick. Saying he is 13th in the nfl now and say at the end of the season may or may not play out. But it is a far cry from saying his career is in the crapper...

And trying to apply intangibles such as running ability is null and void, Young has won 1 game and Atlanta is 3-2, if they were that great they might actually help their team make the playoffs this year, which is not going to happen.

I know, there comparable after 2 games. I'll give into that. Almost all QB's in the NFL are one-dimensional. Only one that probably isn't is Donovan McNabb. Only Vick gets alot of haters cause his one-dimension is running and scrambling while everyone elses is passing. While I agree QB rating should be taken into account to a certain degree, I feel its flawed and isn't the best way to compare Qb's. Anyways, he'll be a good QB. Everyone can see that. As for "Da" Bears, our Colts are going to eat up that secondary in the Superbowl anyway, that is if they can get past the Eagles and Saints. Gotta go now before someone sees me.
#15REDACTED, Posted: Oct 17 2006 at 12:49 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Vick is going to be good until he can't run anymore; ie Steve Mcnair and Mcnabb. Everyone knows black quarterbacks just don't last as long. They spend a few years running away from db's and taking the hits then the rest of their career trying to figure out how to throw the ball.

I was actually done until the edit. Only because you contradicted yourself. You do realize Young and leinart has only started 2 games a piece now and young is 1-1 and leinart is 0-2. If you're in fact defending leinart, then you need to do a better job at it. If we're going by the "Team" records and how many games the "Team" has won under that QB, then I guess Rex Grossman is better than Tom Brady.

Meh, probably did contradict myself, not a Leinart fan actually either.

Don't care for Grossman and especially hate Brady only because he is linked to the Patriots who had a forward pass on a kick-off return that eliminated the Bills from the play-offs say 5 or 6 years ago and started their super bowl winning ways.

colts are an absolute fraud. couldnt make the superbowl last year when they had a good running game and were firing on all cylinders, now this year they're gonna go all the way?! they're lucky not to be 3-2.

The Bears are possibly the worst team to start 5-0 in the history of the league.

Oh wait, sorry. Indy. The Bears are possibly the second worst team to start 5-0 in the history of the legue. They'll lose in the NFC title game and people in Chicago can go back to talking about how Pinnela will lead the Cubs to another third place season while the Patriots win another Super Bowl.

Green's press conference was at least amusing when it happened. By now Edge has to be missing Indy. What was his stat line 36 carries for 55 yards? I'm a Colts fan and I hold no illusions that they will not choke again. Between Rhodes and Addai they can't figure out who they want as their #1 and the defense is shaky looking.

Chicago's defense is absolutely disgusting though. I don't think I have seen a defense this dominating ever before.

You're drunk, right? I'd take the Ravens' super bowl winning defense over this Bears' unit, and that's not even a decade past. I predict that without Mike Brown, and with Grossman coming back to mediocrity, the Bears will not see as many huge leads and will be as exposed as the third best D in the league this year, behind Denver and San Diego, respectively. Of course, I am drinking, but not drunk, yet.
