Mr. Baywatch, David Hasselhoff, believes he "is as popular as Elvis" because so many of his fans support him those "Don't Hassel the Hoff!" shirts. ...

Everywhere I go, there are all these guys, like 400 guys, wearing the 'Don't Hassel The 'Hoff' shirt. "There are guys who turn up dressed like me.

I wonder what the writer actually intended to say.

I knew Elvis. Elvis was no David Hasselhoff.

The 'Hoff lights up Germans' lives like a thousand blazing Velvet Elvises.

Germany, obviously.

There's a lot of pathos in the fact that he doesn't get the whole "it's so crap it's actually funny."

Someone should let him on the joke, really.

I lived in Germany for a few years. I actually saw a huge banner poster of the Hoff in a music store there. The lub him long time.

Another person they seem to have great admiration for is Brett "The Hitman" Hart. <shrug>

I used to really like The Ultmiate Warrior, back in the days of Andre the Giant and Randy Macho Man Savage.

Then again, I was 11.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart always seemed slightly gay. What was up with all that pink and sparkles?

I can admit that Hoff was somewhat of a looker back in his Night Rider days. Even when Baywatch became popular, I was kind of happy for him, but now he's like an old leather satchel, except not as useful. He ooog's me out.
