How terrible can it be to be short in a country of short people?
Apparently terrible enough that people are paying for what sounds like the equivalent of medeival torture. Nice.

I new a girl in HS who wanted to be a Rocket (dancer) she was 2 inches too short. She was looking at having this surgery done but didnt proceed because she'd still be in a cast during try outs.
Yeah, I know of one person who has had something similar done but it was because of a problem with one of his legs not growing due to a football injury. I can't see it being something I would so cosmetically though.
I've been lucky enough not to have any major bone breaks in my life, not about to pay someone to give me my first...two. I don't know, I just picture some nurse out of Stephen King's "Misery" smashing me up...except she's chinese, and short.

A hair line fracture to one of the bones in my hand but nothing major. Just hurt like hell for a bit.
Just try and remember, this is the country that used to wrap the feet of their female children...
