Yeah. I watched that "Path to 9/11" thing. Ignoring the overdramatizations in the thing, one of the bits that was interesting was that they had some news person who'd called in their station after
hearing the first plane hit the WTC on 9/11. I emphasis that word because by the reporters account, he did not see it. But he called it in and knowing no other reports told them it sounded like a missile or a bomb had gone off.
Of course, he was clearly wrong since we have footage of the first plane hitting the building, but this sort of early (wrong) speculation is what typically drives the conspiracy theorists. People today will still insist that there were reports of a missile hitting the WTC, that it must have happened but was covered up....
Heh. And don't get me started on the pentagon. :)
