Hey, you're not Canadian! Get out of my thread! Smiley: mad

Happy Turkey Day weekend to everyone else!

So, how are you spending this Turkey day?

We're having our family turkey on Sunday. I get to miss all the drama and work.

It'll be nice and quiet for a change.

That's because you're in a strange land with weird non-canadian customs and holidays.

You should just cross the border and dodge the Columbus Day. (and grab some turkey)

My family is away, the girlfriends family is away. I had picked up a chicken and figured I would cook it and roast it up with some potatoes and carrots probably some sweet potatoes and stuffing as well (and some cranberry sauce, homemade). Was making a whole big thing of it and then her friends sister (not even her friend) invited us over to thanksgiving which will involve her two screaming children, the abusive dysfunctional father (not husband) of the youngest child and the super crazy religious parents. The girlfriend agreed without consulting me.

/cry

Next weekend my sister her boyfriend and me and the gf are driving down to the home town and having a delayed thanksgiving with the family. At least that won't suck.

Getting together with some extended family today. Tomorrow I'm off to enjoy a day of climbing (possibly the last one of the season). I'll be working Monday, catching up on some things I didn't get done last week, thanks to my garage.

Turkey's just as fine as ever, although the stuffing left much to be desired. :(
