I do find it strange how no one raises the issue of gun control anymore when these things occur. Is this because there is no hope? Because you people genuinely think giving guns to the inmates of the Asylum is a good idea? Or are you just bored of discussing the issue?
I don't know, it seems buying cigarettes is harder than buying guns. When you see all these stories about ranomd nutters shooting other random people, surely you'd think the damage would be lessened if they only had knives.
I know it's a cultural thing, I know it's (not) in the constitution, I know the NRA is powerful, but still. Let's face it: Lots of Americans are crazy. Sme are crazy in a good way, but loads are crazy in an unpredictable way. Allowing them to buy guns just seems wrong on so many levels.
Anyway, I'm jsut curious as to why no one talks about this.
Secondly, I read a book called "let's talk about Kevin" which was very intersting, eventhough it was quite distubring. I also saw an interview with the author, talking about the whole "fame" and "attention-seeking" issue with people in the US. And then there was the guy who was friends with the Columbine killers, talking about bullying. It's all linked, undoubtedly. But in the UK, we also have lots of crazy people, lots of violence, lots of fame and attention-addicted people, and lots of bullying. If anyone could legally own a gun, I really think I'd move back to France.

If only the pinko dummycrats had backed off from this "gun control" nonsense, those little Amish girls would have been packing heat
I think a Sling is the most technologically advanced weapon they could pack. Still, those things really hurt.
