All the news stories about Anna Nicole, Janet Jackson, Pam Anderson's five million weddings and my recent Vivica Fox sighting on Dancing with the Stars make me feel a bit sad. What happened to all these formerly fabulously hot women? A bit too much Botox? The normal ravages of time?

In the meantime, other fantastic older ladies still knock my socks off: Diane Lane, Angela Bassett and the classic: Sofia Loren all managed to age beautifully and naturally.

Who do you think has held up well, and who do you think has slammed facefirst into the proverbial wall?

I think Diane Lane is just absolutely gorgeous. My dad's end-all, be-all is Sophia Loren and has told my mother countless times that if La Loren tells him to leave my mother for her, he has to do it. Smiley: laugh And you can't ignore Catherine Daneuve.

I think Kim Cattrall as well has done beautifully. As well as Goldie Hawn. Christie Brinkley is still beautiful. Nicole Kidman is on the cusp of taking on too much Botox and I don't know what the hell Angie ********* has done with her face. Sharon Stone has her good days and bad days. Sigourney Weaver is still one gorgeous dame as well.

Those that have just gone overboard: Lisa Rinna with those lips. Anna Nicole Smith is just ack now. Same with Pamela Anderson Rock. And I would like to see how Demi Moore does in 10 years after all her alleged surgeries.

Sharon Stone seems to photograph well but is a mess whenever she has to dress herself without help form a stylist.

I had forgotten Sigourney Weaver. A Handsome Woman. Oh--Renee Russo. She is so doable in The Thomas Crown Affair. Rawr.

You know who is still hot? Nicole Kidman. Smokin' hot. Smiley: inlove

In this NWS pic, she is a thinner clone of my wife.

Nicole Kidman isn't that old, is she?

I wouldn't really think judging anyone on this unless they are in their mid-40's at least. Christie Brinkley and Heather Locklear are great examples of women over 40 (or 50 in Brinkley's case) and are still smokin.

Renee Zellweger is still pretty hot for an old chick. Who was that lady that was in that movie with Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell (Night at the Roxbury?), the one that played thier mother. Yeah, looks like her and Father Time had a little punch-up and she didn't hold up that well.

Edit: Oh! And Catherine Zeta Jones, she's smokin'.

You lucky bastage. Nicole is way too thin. Your wife must be a knockout.

How could have I forgotten Rene Russo? Yes, very doable in The Thomas Crown Affair (her wardrobe in that movie was to die for), which also makes me realize that Faye Dunaway was hot in that too.

Edit: And forgot to say that Melanie Griffith is just yech now.

Diana Rigg looks great, in my opinion.

As for the not-so-goods... meh, everyone has days when they should not be photographed.

Diana Rigg was the female lead in The Avengers tv series (British show). She was a hottie in her day. I think she is the current host of PBS's Mystery! after Vincent Price retired/died...I think died...

Posted while I was grabbing a pic of her.

Price died, but given the genre he was famous for maybe he's still working.
