"Earwigs are stout little troopers. We had a minor invasion of them in the house this spring and they don't get squished easily." --FleaJo2

It's not nice to call FleaJo1's visa-less and INS-ily challenged relatives "earwigs," dude. She can't help it she's from south o' the border.

Given that "Earwig" is my nickname, that doesn't even make sense.

You're trying too hard.

I think from me actually, though I don't remember the exact thread or even why he came to be called "Earwig". Here's one I found from 2 years ago that indicates some early use of said nickname.

It was from you, Tare. I think the thread had to do with songs that get stuck in your head, and someone referred to them as earwigs (probably a confusion with "earworm", which is what I've heard them called), and you said "Oh, like Jophiel!"

Or I may have just made that up. Who can tell?

Smiley: laugh That sounds, well, kooky. I thought it had something to do with Checkov getting that ear bug in Star Trek, Wrath of Khan.

Ah, the old drinkin' days. Such mystery!

Spiders are the worst bug ever. Ewwww.. I hate spiders. Then again I hate roaches too, I'll squeal like a little girl even seeing them in movies.

Don't mind most spiders, now Wolf spiders and those like them are evil bastards. Obvisouly I wouldn't be excited about a tarantula in my apartment either, but I think that goes without saying.

Roaches...are the biggest bastards alive. I have never had an infestation but I have been to peoples homes that do. And yes, little girl type squeals were involved.
