I got a couple PM's from people wondering what I had in the secondary computer as well. Nothing fancy, but here it is.

Motherboard: Asus P5ad2 premium (not the E model)

Processor: Intel 3.4ghz single core with hyperthreading.

Memory: 1GB (2x512) Generic DDR2, 2 empty slots. Will be filled soon

Hard disk drive: 1 WD 250gb

Graphics cards: 1 of the few existing Geforce FX 6800 Ultra cards

Heatsink: Stock (will be water cooled soon

Case: Aspire X Superalien http://aspireusa.net/product.php?pid=52 Sure its a little garish, but it is built on the legendary Chenming 602 chassis (like all my cases) and aside from the 80mm fans, has everything you could want in a case. I am replacing it with another thermaltake eureka and koolance kit though, because its just too noisy. So my little brother will probably end up with it.

Monitor: Dual Sony 21" CRT. Also slated to be replaced. But these were free.

Power: Enermax Noisetaker II 600w

Sound: Soundblaster Audigy II ZS Platnum.

Despite having stopped moogle- fucking a while back, I was curious what you bench both your systems at on the Final Fantasy Benchmark 3.

Using this version, which I assume is the right one:
http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/download/media/benchmark03.html
I got an 8851 with the main computer in low resolution mode, 7025 in high resolution.

With the secondary computer I only got a 6870 in low resolution mode, and only a 4875 in high resolution mode.

So what's a good number for that test?

You're going to make me feel bad, now... I scored a 7350 in HD and I haven't tried standard res yet....

OH, speaking of which! What's a good program to take pics in-game with? Just screenies in general?

FFXI is optomized for AMD processors, and it's ignoring the second core on my machine, not to mention the two hyperthehading cores, so I'm not too suprised, though I am a little suprised you got that far up there with that graphics card, and just one of them. Are you running 64 bit windows by any chance?

edit: I can get up to 7310 if I kiil norton and overclock slightly after a fresh reboot. yay

Good show! No, I'm running XP Pro 32-bit. You had me worried there, Kao, for a moment there I thought I pushed you off the top of the hill.

Yes, the 7950 is a VERY impressive card, especially for 3-$350! NVidia really outdid themselves with this product imho.
