Ready go.

What makes this game better then the other 243 WWII Shooters that were released in the last 6 months?

Depth, complexity, graphics and sounds.

That and your C.O. shouting to "kill those f'ucking krauts".

It's not a shooter, think Command and Conquer.

Sounding a little better. I never got into the whole war game genre but if its a strat like you say, sounds interesting.

That game would melt my PC. Nice looking screenshots though.

One of these days I need to upgrade to a decent gaming PC.

As much as the commercials for the game give me happy in my pants, the specs would probably turn my computer into a heap of molten slag.

That and I suck at twitch play on the PC and, per the review, this game has a lot of frantic mouse & keyboard work involved.

Make and image of the CD's and gimme your keys. I'll let you know what I think. Smiley: dubious

I'd be really interested if it comes with a LAN play feature that you do not need to purchase 2 copies of the game to play. Like RedAlert2.

Sadly, I'm due for a PC upgrade as well. That'll probably be my present to myself this Christmas. I just did it 2 years ago, but kind of half-assed it. I need to do it up right this time, and spend more than $500.

That game does look promising though.

I'm also setting money back for a PC upgrade. I'm so tired of reading about these cool games that I can't play. And I'm tired of lagging and slow loading in MMOs.

My PC is already kickass, so no worries there. What I need to confirm is how many players can play on the LAN with 1 copy of the game? I've looked but all I can find is that up to 8 players can play at once. If this is anything like Starcraft, Warcraft and C&C then the answer would be 2-3, but I need confirmation before shelling out the bux.

I'd like someone who gets this and has Dawn of War to compare them, I wanna see if "realism" beats 23 foot tall man-eating baseball-playing Demons.

So on a whim yesterday, I bought Dawn of War w/ the expansion for like $25. I'll let you know.

I SO freakin hate RTS games. It's not stategy when you got to mash keys in twitch play. At best you could call it tactics... maybe. I yearn so badly for a real strategy game that also looks good. That being said Dawn of War rocks.

I totally forgot I have Dawn of War. My Bobdamn mmorpg (EQ2) addiction makes me forget all other games I have...which is way too many to mention. I'll try to check it out this weekend if I can find my cd (pretty much all my pc games are in boxes still from our move across country.

The good thing about Company of Heroes is that hitting buttons as fast as you can won't work. You can't amass an army and just drive through town.
