Queens of the Stone Age is a neat name, but I was disappointed with their album. For shame, Grohl.

also,

Corky and the Juicepigs. (Started out like BNL(barenakedladies)) as an Inde band in Toronto.

when you think of a metal head
tell me what comes to mind
well maybe stone-washed jeans, a mullet
a guy whose evolutionarily one step behind
well, when rob halford came out of the closet
it may not have been a big thing
well today we're one step closer
to hearing the metal dudes sing
i wanna be
i wanna be a homosexual
statistics say:
chances of being gay are more than one in ten
that means there's a forty percent chance
that one of the guys in pantera likes men
HEY!
so i think its safe to say that many more metal guys are homosexual
this may frustrate the gay community
why would they want the ugly metal heads available?
see I told you metal dudes are gay too
and I happen to see the proof so far that your sexuality determines the way you play guitar
oh! I'd love for everyone in heavy metal to be homosexual
if not only to make the **** ******* pricks in slayer a little uncomfortable

I love Atom and His Package. :)

I saw them rock it at a bowling alley once.

Well... this isn't a band name, it's the name of the album, but how about I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your *** (by Yo La Tengo)?

Nominated for Asylum Soundtrack for 2006, based simply on album title.
