"Fidelity" makes me want to put my elbow through her teeth.
"On the Radio" is really nice, except her blatant exploitation of the blackies.
Fidelity is easily the popiest of the tracks although I have to admit to liking it regardless. Plus, Flea would call me out if I tried to lie about it.
Ms. Spektor does have a curious fascination with c.1960's technology stop-frame animation. It works on "Us" and "Samson" but seems tacked in on "On the Radio". I amuse myself by thinking that, as a Russian immigrant, she probably thinks Gumby is cutting-edge technology
I picked up her two readily available studio albums and she plays quite a range of styles. Which means there's probably something for everyone but it's hard to say "Listen to this track 'cause that's what she's like." Anyway, I liked her enough to pick up tickets to see her live come October.
