Unwiring my monitor. Someone's got to have come up with a solution. If I can't unwire it, what's the max recommended run on a VGA cable?

50 feet, after that you want a powered distribution amp. Or you can run 100 feet and get less than desireable signal but still viewable. amps are cheap

NWCA.com has about the best price I've seen for long video cables and video splitter boxes. If you are thinking of doing a home theater project with a roof mounted projector, definitly worth a look, plus they are local. Some of the rest of their stuff is overpriced, but you can't beat them on the cableing.
