When you get round to a European get-together, why not visit Birmingham?

Quote:
Women's lap dancing club to open

The city said to have the highest number of lap dancing clubs in the UK is to get another - solely for women.

The owners of Tricky DiCky's in Birmingham will employ 22 male dancers to entertain a female audience.

The club is due to open next week in the Chinatown area, next door to another lap dancing club for men.

Owner Richard Power said his research indicated it "was not okay" for women to go to lap dancing clubs and he wanted to change that.

He told BBC News: "When I was doing my market research it was ok for a male to go to a club and see female dancers but it was not ok for his partner or wife to go.

"I have actually turned the tables. I'm not doing it in a seedy way, I'm doing it professionally. I have 22 of the fittest male dancers.

"The beauty of it is women can just come out and let their hair down and have fun."

Now as one who does admire teh female form, especially in a disrobed state, I've never seen the pleasure in strip clubs or lap-dancing bars. I like to admire teh bewbies in private.

But would any of you laydeez/Saborutos find any appeal in seeing an oiled hunk pole-dancing on stage whilst you're surrounded by dozens of other gurlies?

Edited because "Tricky Richardy's" isn't as funny as the real name of "Tricky DiCky's".

call it a double standard, but in my personal opinion, the female body can be a work of art, if taken care of. I can look at a woman and see the beauty of her curves without the feeling of lust. I can appreciate a womans beauty and so to see it displayed by a willing participant is not something that disturbs me. Alas, while a mans body can be hot, a naked mans body is not something that can streamline as well on a pole. And then there is the issue of is the flag raised or lowered? And how does that work with lap dancing?

Naked men dancing with flacid members just doesnt make sense. And naked men dancing stiff with doallr bills sticking out of their thongs doesnt work either.

Yes.

Before I got married, I loved going to strip clubs. Went to the gentlemen's clubs with my guy friends. Got lap dances from the female dancers (my guy friends LOVED that). One of my friends from high school is an exotic dancer and I always went to her club and got just about anything free.

Loved having private parties where my friends and I would order up a male exotic dancer. It was wonderful. The memories ....Smiley: inlove I could go on and on and on...

I am SO dreaming good tonight! Smiley: grin

I agree. I'd much rather watch a chick poledance than a guy... I love teh men but come on... you just have to laugh when they to the twirly thing with their penors.

I'd much rather watch burlesque than strip shows, since most of the ones I've seen (female and male) involve the dancer in some state of alcoholic or chemical intoxication, and that's not hawt: it's sloppy.

I hate male exotic dancers. Always have. I can admire women in a non-sexual way, like DSD. However, two men kissing is teh hawtness, even more than one woman or man twirling on a pole.

I view the female body as beautiful, there's something about the curve of a female waist that is very eye-catching. And no, I'm not talking about it in a sexual way.

But I can also view the male body as beautiful, particularly if it is displayed correctly. Every club that I've gone to where it was ladies' night, the guys did not do any pole tricks. A lot of it depended on their dance moves and how they interacted with the crowd. Some of the dancers were horrible, but the ones that were good just made my night. Smiley: inlove

Lap dancing with a female dancer was just plain fun. We did it just because we knew the guys would whoop it up and lap it up. Lap dancing with a male dancer is just plain erotic for me. Sometimes the flag is raised, sometimes it's lowered, other times it was at half mast. One of the dancers told me that he responded accordingly to how a girl was reacting to HIM. If he knew she was completely enjoying herself, he got aroused.

I wonder if my tab at Cheetah's is still good? Smiley: laugh

My first view of an adult ***** (get your mind out of the gutter, I had to change a lot of diapers in my babysitting years) was at a strip club in Windsor, Ontario. My sister was having her bachelorette party, and while she and the rest of her bridesmaids were 19 or over (legal drinking age in Ontario at the time--don't know if it's changed) I was only 15. So she slapped about a quart of makeup on me and somehow managed to get me in on a 21 year-old's ID.

They were mainly partially erect, if memory serves (I wouldn't have known the difference at the time, but in retrospect, they were neither flaccid nor erect.) The result being that they were all a little bent. I wasn't terribly impressed. Something about the way it swung when they danced was just a little icky, and when my sister paid one dancer to give me a table dance and mess with my head a little, I was fairly disgusted when he was swinging it right near my face.

I like a well-defined male form in still shots, we have a number of black-and-white art nudes that are absolutely gorgeous. But I really am in no hurry to repeat the strip club experience.

After some quiet introspection, I have decided that I most certainly do approve of this thread.

Although inspired by paid wang-danglers, a subject I normally avoid, I find these gentlemen of the night have drawn out some wonderful stories from the femmes. Thumbelyna continues to give credence to my suspicion that she is in fact the freakiest female poster around here. DSD gives me just enough of an insight, without blowing the mystery for me.

But Ambrya's post has made the entire undertaking worthwhile. Who can argue the mental picture of pubescent Ambrya being scolded by the half-hard cOck waggling lazily in her face.

In short, well done, Nobby, well done, indeed.

I have only been to a strictly male strip club once - the night before I got married. I didn't think it was particularly sexy; it was more of a giggle. I really didn't enjoy the lap dance I got. At 5 months pregnant, the last thing I wanted was some 20 year old kid slobbering all over me, but I tried to pretend like I was lovin' it so he didn't feel bad. Smiley: laugh

Man, did I need a drink that night.

I live in Birmingham so I may pay a visit when this place opens, just out of curiosity Smiley: grin

I've been to Ladies' Nights before where there have been male strippers, and it's never been in the least bit erotic. It's always tended to be full of very drunk, very giggly women, screeching like hyenas every time the dancer takes something off. The men always seem to dress as a fireman or a sailor and they look very silly indeed waving their willies around. I can see how female dancers can make it sensual, but with men the dangly bits seem to get in the way.

I was chatting with my brother on the phone last night and I dont know how the hell it came up but this thread was mentioned. He's a Marine down in NC and his base is surrounded by several strip clubs. All of them are for the guys though and it had got him to thinking that a strip club for the ladies would bring in a ton of cash. His thought on it was when all those Marines get deployed all the Marines wives are stuck at base. And they're alone for a long time. I then remembered Thumbs response and gave credit that it actually might be a plausible idea that could actually work if built near an army base. He had said that he had thought about making his own after he got out just knowing there was a niche that wasnt filled and he mused about how filthy rich he would get. Of course he said he would just bartend the club. Smiley: lol

It still wouldnt do anything for me.

I'm not big on the idea of either male or female stripping/lap dancing. It's just a tease, and I'll need an outlet, and who can say that I'd be able to wait until I get home??

Really? The men turn you on? Maybe I've just been to some dead trashy joints.
Then again, I can't really get into someone sexually without that emotional connection.

That actually reminds me of one of the ladies who has Passion Parties (one of those home showings, but instead of Tupperware or Pampered Chef, it's all sex toys) in this area. She had a male stripper for the first hour of the night and by the end of the night, every lady that went to that event ordered something. Smiley: laugh She raked in the cash.

I'd go. Any location around any military base would work. I'd SO go. Hell, I may have to steal your brother's idea and create one on the West Coast so I'd have a place to go.

My husband has GOT to get home soon.

Not that I want to look at ugly people (men or women), but it's the thought of what's going on that gets me going, not what they look like.

And most of the male strippers I've seen have been at gay clubs (duh), so the guys looked pretty good, heh.
