I was reading a post in another message board about polyamourous (open marriage) couples. As I read more and more, it occurred to me that, while I would love to be open-minded about the practice, this is where my brain screams "freaks". I know others have less tolerance than I, some much much more, but I was curious. Where do you draw the line of what is okay when it comes to sexuality?

People need to get over themselves, because...
...living with someone in a committed monagomous relationship and having kids when you're not married is totally fine.:11 (21.6%)
...being Gay/Lesbian in a committed monagomous relationship is totally fine.:6 (11.8%)
...being Gay/Lesbian in a committed monagomous relationship and raising kids is fine.:5 (9.8%)
...being Bisexual/Transgendered is totally fine.:3 (5.9%)
...being Bisexual/Transgendered in a committed monagomous relationship and raising kids is fine.:10 (19.6%)
...bring polyamorous is fine.:6 (11.8%)
...being polyamorous and raising kids is fine.:5 (9.8%)
...being in a loving sexual relationship with a child is fine.:5 (9.8%)
Total:51

I've met people in just about every category, except for the child category. I have found myself to be very accepting of whatever lifestyle has been chosen by others, as long as the choice was made independently and they're not making it an "in your face" issue. I see that there's a difference in being proud of what choices have been made and living with dignity with those choices as opposed to flaunting said decisions.

As for the "open marriages" I have seen a couple that just goes about their life and does what they want to do, then there's another couple that acts like Jerry Springer's cameras are following them. Smiley: oyvey Both couples have kids and I wonder what the kids are thinking of their parents' lifestyles, or are even aware of them. I haven't observed anything that shows that the kids are mal-adjusted, depressed, angry, antisocial, etc. but I still wonder.

Years ago when I was first making my way in this world I had roommates. I shared a cottage with this married couple named Felix and Laurie. They had spent time traveling from coast to coast and sleeping under the stars; they were also about ten years older than me. Basically, they had spent alot of time as homeless folks, and when I was nineteen they were very interestuing to me, and we smoked alot of dope.

Pretty quickly I found out that Laurie was bi-sexual, and they started bringing home a young girl every now and then and I would have to turn up Letterman to drown out the humpfest in the room next door. They had a rule, though, that they never fUcked anyone else unless the other one was present. Basically, gangbangs were okay but it wasn't alright for Felix and I to chasae tail if Laurie wasn't around. This system didn't work out because they were both big whores, and always ended up fUcking an outsider, taking pictures of the act, and then hiding them feebley around the cottage. Ahh, the memories.

Long story short, I ended up moving out when they started parading in whole groups of teenaged girls they'd find at the high school we lived near. I'm talking four and five at a time so you've got half a dozen hump Olympians going at it all night. Too much noise for poor Letterman to counter.

Why wait 'till kindergarden? If they can sit on a curb and their feet touch the street it's good enough for me.

I thought voting was based on picking the one statement that would send you over the edge versus picking the one statement that DOESN'T and implying everything else on the poll sends you over the edge?

I got confused, so no vote for me.

I'd have to say, I was fine up until the following:

Quote:
...bring polyamorous is fine.
...being polyamorous and raising kids is fine.

That's a no-no.

I'm bisexual myself, so yeah, I have nothing against any gay/lesbian relationships, but if you're with someone, you should love them and be faithful to them. Open marriages are kind of disturbing to me! X_X

Nah, it was based on picking the last statement you agreed upon, i.e., drawing your moral line in the sand.

I wouldn't mind if my partner wanted to bring a girl along to join in or hell I would be happy to watch (film).

But the minute that some dude wanted a piece of my missus it would be on like Kong. I guess a lot of guys are this way, happy to have as many girls join in, but when another ***** comes along you have to stomp on it.

BT I am dissapointed that you didn't join in and get a few girls for yourself, anyway pics please.

You've read too much into what I omitted, but you are safe in assuming I have partaken in the sweet labour that is the menage o ****. Honestly though, I much prefer one woman at a time, as I'm prone to becoming a regular Captain Caveman when over-stimulated.

  • Using Polyvinyl chloride is fine.

  • That was a choice I wasn't given. I demand a re-vote.
