They can say that all they want but it's going to cost the taxpayers out of their own pocket one way or another so believe what you will. As it stands now the State is already spending money it has yet to retrieve.
The cost of taking the companies to trial will be in the millions, the cost of the the repairs is 15 million +...some say it will be over 20 mil.
Higher tolls on the Mass Pike are expected.
As stated earlier we can't expect much from the
Fed on the repairs either.
The case still has to be brought to trial and the companies still have to be found guilty. Most likely the companies will leave someone left holding hte bag; there by mitigating how much blame can be held by the company itself.
So...where is the money coming from??
