The wheelchair rolling downhill toward the waiting gator did give me pause. I mean... how often does that happen?

My favorite sign I've seen read, "If we see you smoking we will assume you are on fire and take appropriate measures", in a dentist office waiting room, obviously before smoking indoors became illegal in Cali.

Was that dude being attacked by a jellyfish or a squid? It looked like a squid to me but how often is that really an issue?

About as often as wheelchairs rolling into alligators, I suppose

Probably a Man o' War warning sign from Australia. Apparently they are all over the place and quite dangerous.

Wheelchair into the Alligator is a classic Smiley: lol

The one saying they sold guns, wedding gowns and cold beer is so typically red neck.

I have actually seen that sign up north.

Also, I got a kick of the "Secret Nuclear Bunker -->" sign.

From my home town: I recommend the poon.

Although this isn't a photo I took, I did drive by this sign on my way to Milwaukee, and begged my friend to stop and let me take a picture.

Too bad it wasn't a stingray.

The sign and the path it's on reminds me of the movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!

My favorite sign is still a stop sign a block south of my old apartment on campus. Somebody cleverly put a sticker that says "Hammer Time!" near the bottom.

Hilarity ensued.

I drove by that very sign on a recent trip to Milwaukee... or one eerily like it. I pointed out to my wife that it was probably named after Richard Bong - the highest scoring American fighter pilot of WW2. But then, I'm geeky about **** like that.

Don't be sad. My wife, the native Wisconsinite Wisconsonian cheese-head and former University of Wisconsin at Madison student assured me that it is, in fact, very much the bong recreation area, as well as the Bong Recreation Area.

There's a fire station nearby (actually it's across the street from Sing-Sing) called the Holla Hose Company. Every time I pass it I imagine it says "Holla House Company" which sounds like a hip-hop record label.

Well, that never did occur to me. I just go by what I read.

Good call though!
