I see that MDA raised over 61 million dollars this year. It's a new record.

I wonder how much of that money is going to kids afflicted with this very serious disease in the form of research, treatment, camps, wheel chairs, wheel chair accesible vehicles and home renovations for affected families.

I also wonder how much is going to that old, fat, narcissistic, can't-sing-or-even-perform, should-have-died-years-ago, exploits-poor-sick-children piece of washed-up trash Jerry Lewis.

You KNOW he gets a cut and you KNOW it's more than most of us make in many years.

Well, what did you raise for the MDA this year, Grizzleox? How much have you raised in the past 40 years?

In the past 6 years I have raised about 7500 dollars. I donate my time, equipment and work our local telethon. I set up lights and cameras and telephones, work all of Labor Day weekend and don't take a cent.

It is my understanding that most workers of the telethon donate their time and money. I have a problem with people taking ANY money from donations that should go to these afflicted people. But thats just me.

It does.

But what hurts is that he is not better, just more famous.
Anyone can sit at a desk, doped up and talk into a microphone.

I am sorry, but aside from letting them use his name, what else does he do?
I would tryuly like to know.

Raising 61 million for poor sick children

Those kids do not see 61 million. Not even close.

He's a celebrity and thereby the draw to watch the telethon. I'd say he does his job well, considering the amount of money he's helped to raise for your favorite charity over the past 40 years.

There's no pleasing some people. Jesus.

In the arena of going on tv and getting people to send you money, famous is better.

Do yourself a favor and shut the f'uck up. You obviously are a moran and you are getting your *** handed to you here.

I just wish that he didn't take any money. I know. I am one of those who wishes the world was perfect and 'won't someone think of the children' bleeding hearts. If he said, 'for 40 years I have not recieved one cent' I would feel much better. But his yearly income for 40 years has been about sick children because he hasn't done anything celebrity-like since. It doesn't sit well with me.

If they see 15K, it's twice as much as you raised.

Man, I love this guy.

I'm not trying to compete with anyone here.

Do YOURSELF a favor and drop the 'I'm the king @#%^ around here' routine. It's so old and stopped being cute and funny a long time ago.

If they see 15K, it's twice as much as you raised.

*Sigh Ok. Fine. I'm done. The @ssholes here win again. I bring my defeated 'pinhead' *** somewhere else. It's my fault really.

So did anyone hear that Steve Irwin died?

is this reference still being considered funny?

On the other hand, even if he took 50% of the proceeds, the rest still crushes your measly $7500.
