if you have the day off. If you don't (like me), enjoy the rest of your day when you leave work. Off to the office now. Smiley: frownSmiley: crySmiley: frown

I suppose it could be worse, I suppose. My cousin is due to have her baby any day and she's having her mini-labor pains. I'll take my day over hers.

Not the best of weekends for me. I had to miss a camping trip due to coming down with a sore throat/cold.

I guess it could have been worse. I could have come down with it while I was out there.

sorry to hear you had to work. hope it was not to nuts and went by smoothly for you. as for the cuz, god bless em with a healthy baby and short delivery time.:

as for how my holliday weekend went...

Fri, taught classes:
Sat. had Board Breaking (vids coming soon)
Sat. night: rebuilt my winXP computer that is only 3 months old. bloody MS crashed unrecoverable... *rolls eyes*
Sun. finished recovery of XP box. spent some quality time with family BEFORE i went to finish rebuilding the rig.
TODAY. loads of family time *grins*
tonight (evening) picked up 7 new black belts from an other school. have known these guys all since they were white belts and have taught them over the years as a guest instructor. their school is now under new managment and they are not happy. they will be making a 240mi round trip 2 - 3 times per month to train with me. not a bad day.

Labor Day? I had brunch with my girlfriend, and my sister who was up in New York for the week, then went with my girlfriend back to her mom's place to hang out. Spent the night at the girlfriend's and went to the first day of my new job training the next morning. Pretty good.

My net has been down at home since Saturday morning.

Needless to say, my weekend (and the days that followed) have been very uneventful.

Yes, I'm pissed and grouchy.

Do tell. Did you simply stop paying the rent or are they building an overpass through your apartment?

Landlady backed out on a deal my roommate and I had made with her, we've been able to make a deal to stay for 2 more weeks while we find a new place now, but that's a really short amount of time.

People are ********.

People are @#%^s.
What kind of deal? If it had anything to do with you owing her money, it's not that she's a fucker so much as you are.

she put the rent deadline 4 days before both mine and my roommate's payday(rent days varies each month), she and I agreed after I explained things that we should get until our payday, then on labour day we got an angry phone call from her husband yelling at us and telling us to pay by the 10th or get the **** out, me and my roommate don't get paid until the 14th(we get paid the same day)

It appears that her husband is in fact the one in charge of things...

So: your rent was due the 10th (Sunday), you get paid the 14th (Thursday). However, you must have also recieved a check on the 31st. No money left from that 6 days later to pay rent?

She comes on the second of each month and tells us when our rent is due, usually that ends up being 16th or 17th(she comes on weekends for some reason). My roommate's paycheck from the 31st went to finishing paying off his old debts(completely paid off now) and mine was small because of a management change at the store(old manager would deduct stuff for all sorts of things) and my check was only $100 as opposed to the usual $350ish and I gave $40 to my mother who I owed money to for my cell phone bill(im on her plan), and I used the rest for groceries.
