I've always thought he'd get bit by some venomous snake like a Brown Snake or a viper or something like that.

Overdose, didn't see this coming. But at least he died living his way. Better off then how most of us will die. I can just picture him, snorting lines behind Jay Leno's desk before the show. "Kricky, Thats good Blow!"

Ever play halo 2? Remember that guy that says "Dear Captian, kicking *** in outer space, wish you were here."? I like to think that NPC was modeled after Steve.

I'm such a sunny Miss Sunshine that I went the optimistic route and said he died of old age. Okay, more likely dying as an old man trying to wrestle a Komodo dragon. Smiley: grin

But you had to know that he was going to die while doing a "Danger Danger Danger!" The hubby, kids and I enjoyed watching his show. Sure he was an over the top, excited guy, but you can't deny that he totally demonstrated his joy and love for all things outdoors.

I'm glad it wasn't during one of the few live shows he did.

Well, he was filming a documentary when this happened so they probably do have some footage. Let's see when it leaks.

I said rolled by a croc because anyone who calls himself "The Crocodile Hunter" is asking for trouble.

Poor Steve.

I always figured his wife would plunge a fish gutting knife in his heart. Wonder if the stingray was a hired killer.

I always thought he'd die in a sports car on the freeway going 90 mph headfirst into a semi truck, with 8 pints of beer in his bloodstream, a crack pipe in his mouth, and a black hooker swallowing his snake.

Personally, I figure he would die of old age, just to spite everyone who lives a safe, sheltered life...

I retrieved this from some old files I saved off of the old UBB forum. It is dated December, 2002.

I like Steve Irwin, after all he is a member of the TFC, but my money goes on some pissed off stingray killing him some day.

I always figured he'd live to a ripe old age, but that heart trouble would slow him down and result in his getting bitten by a snake or venomous insect, and it'd get infected and he'd lose the limb, but being a deranged Aussie, wouldn't give up his dangerous croc rasslin' and would eventually get rolled by a croc and drown.

Daniel, 11, asked: "Why did it have to be Steve Irwin? Why couldn't it be someone older like Sean Connery?"

Smiley: laugh

That kid's gonna feel bad if Connery kicks the bucket anytime soon.
