Banksy Strikes Again!! Whee!Follow

Gotta love Banksy

He's a subversive artist who sneaks fake paintings into the world's greatest art galleries (like a 15th century Italian Masterpiece but with St Peter wearing a Casio wristwatch).

He creates amazing street-art (My FavoUrite)

But now (Bless him) he's doctored a bunch of Paris Hilton CDs and switched them in stores across the UK. He's remixed them and altered the titles (Why am I Famous?, What Have I Done? and What Am I For?) and cover art (Paris Hilton with her baps out and with a dog's head)

What do you think her response will be? "Oh that... Um... I didn't even know. Oh well must not be hot." Honestly hope it makes her insides turn, and wrench. Funny stuff.

With the life she leads, her death will ammuse me.

I can see this driving sales of Hilton's drivel up (at least in the UK). And even if its for art's sake I'm not sure that's a good thing.

I loved it when he broke into the Elephant Enclosure at London Zoo and sprayed grafitti on the wall on the elephants' behalf:


"I want out. This place is too cold. The keeper smells. Boring, boring, boring"
