Yes, well, that's the sort of blinkered, Philistine pig-ignorance I've come to expect from you non-creative garbage.

My dad used to have that quote on his Apple whenever he emptied the garbage. Assigning custom sounds to tasks was all the rage back then. That and color monitors.

Don't forget the disk drives that would eject themselves without the need of a button! THAT was hawt. I mean, Apple is genious! Nothing could EVER possibly go wrong with that!

Yes, because no one ever puts an unreadable CD, so that there's no icon on your desktop, so that you can eject the unreadable CD.

I hate Mac.

I haven't even thought of custom sounds in forever. I remember my last computer was all set up with sounds and then I got my new one and just never bothered. I don't think anyone really does anymore, do they?

I don't. But I used to play around with the sounds all the time. Back when wavs were cool, man...

I still *do* have a lot of MST3K wavs saved, though. My favorite for my email was Servo saying "You've got mail... patterned baldness!"

My incoming mail was the "We just got a letter" song from Blue's Clues.

The only sound I ever put on a computer was R.L. Burnside. I used to have a manager that looked like a chubby baby, and he was a total whiner. I put RL on saying "Mom, mom! Gimme some milk!"

Since about 1998, my main computer starts to the tyranosaurus Rex roar form Jurassic park. Fairly beafy 7.1 surround soud speakers on this thing, and I occasionally forget to mute the volume before I turn it on at 6:30 in the morning... fun times.
