Karma, it has a way of biting you in the *** Rime. I wouldn't taunt it overly much if I were you. I definantly dont wish this condition on anyone else. Good news is it can be treated. It took my aunt several years of treatment but she has two beautiful children. Your God hasnt saved you yet.

I will never believe anything bad about your sister, unless I actually see these alledged photos for myself.

It took me a while to decide you weren't talking about your karma score on the forums. I'm still not 100% sure.

Presumably you mean, from the other acorn.

Samira,

They all come from the same tree right?

I for one, am not in the least bit shocked that Katie's sister is a cùnt.

Everyone's already said it, but it's because she's a younger sibling. I had a strict curfew and got grounded for 6 months once by my wicked mother from hell. Meanwhile my brother can do whatever the hell he likes while I'm in college. I remember staying up til 2 am waiting for him to come home cause I was so worried about him and what were my parents doing? SLEEPING.

I've always wondered if this is some parental disease and that it's only a matter of time until I catch it. +_+

I've caught it. I'm trying to find a treatment for it.

I'd suggest writing down guidlines and punishments, posting them where all the little rugrats can see them and if they break the rules...

I had kind of the opposite experience. I was the oldest and never had a curfew or anything. I was expected to tell my parents where I was going and when I would be back and they never argued with me on it. Telling them I was going "to hang out with friends" and that I would be back sometime before 3 AM seemed to be fine.

I never actually asked permission to do anything, I just told them what I was going to do and waited for them to object. My younger sister lied to them a few times early on and she had to get prior approval days in advance from then on.

My foray into The Asylum . . . though I will admit, I've had a great time reading all of your posts. Feel kinda weird coming in on a topic such as this with what I'm saying, but oh well. Hey Katie! You're a fellow CPhT? I didn't know that! Hehe, just passed that damn National Exam with an 849 and now I'm looking for work. Well, now that my oddballness is out of the way, I hope everything works out with your sister!

KAtie,
I am sure that this post has died by now, but here is my two cents worth;

As a high school coach ( girls) for the past 20 years, one way to help keep your sister away from all those bad things is to help her find altenatives. Like you mentioned, I believe, with her work at the hospital. Many times kids find drugs, drinking, sex, because they do not have another focus in life, and they really are just bored.
This doesn't always work, but I have found that giving alternatives, and it sounds like ( in your own life, at least ) that you have had alot of varied experiences, can at least give kids an option away from all the bads things she is into now.
Good luck.
