So, I have an interview this monday. The interview is for a job where as my position is practically the same as my old job, but I have less responcibilities. Same exact pay rate, but more hours (which I was asking my ex boss for ages, all the while he continued to shaft me in hours.)

Needless to say, I'm excited and hopeful.

Of course, though...something HAD to go wrong. I woke up today sick like a dog. Could barely sleep last night from a sore throat. Smiley: motz

Aww, phooey! Here's to getting healthy again by monday! Smiley: laugh

tea, toast, airborne, stop fucking posting and get back to bed. Or at least lie on the couch watching movies all day.

Get better fast Exo!

If you're still not feeling that great on Monday, pop a DayQuil and spritz some Chloraseptic about an hour and a half before your interview.

Hope you'll be better by Monday and my suggestion isn't needed! Smiley: grin

Same bug I had. I heard it's the new cold for the upcoming season. I am SO up with the latest fads! Smiley: grin
In all seriousness, go get antibiotics pronto. You're still contagious until you've been on them a couple of days, and it'll get ugly quick. Trust me- I still don't have my voice back 100% and I got sick almost two weeks ago. Smiley: frown

I, on the other hand, have shared a bed with Typhoid Mary here and still not gotten sick. Hail my iron constitution!

Yeah, I know that Typhoid Mary is exactly the wrong name to apply to someone who has symptoms and hasn't made me sick. I couldn't think of better.

If you can call the two hours that overlap bewteen napping in broad daylight while I am awake and being on the computer way past when I've fallen asleep "sharing a bed", that is.

I'd tell you two to get a room; but that's exactly what the discussion is all about. Smiley: laugh

On other news, I GOT THE JOB!!!!!

Smiley: yippee

I start tomorrow. 9AM to 6PM. They pay overtime with time and a half. Lunch is paid for.

To make matters even more interesting, I was originally applying for a paper pusher job, which is why I was thinking "oh fun, same pay, less to do."

Instead, the boss man looked at my resume and said I'm over qualified for the job. Instead, he's going to have me as a paper pusher temporarily and train me to be an actual accountant person while handling payroll...which even that might get taken away for the accounting. (The office I'm working for is an accountant office. Smiley: grin)

If I play my cards right...I might be on my way for some good times!

Whoo hoo! Congrats, E_odus!

I didn't have to; that's included. Smiley: grin It's on the "as long as I have nothing to do" basis.

In other words, I'm going to be a busy bee until they get used to seeing my face everyday, pass a review, and hit 10k posts. Smiley: laugh
