You win Alla, you *******. It only took one pop-up to break the camel’s back. It had sound attached, and it started just as someone was going by my office. You see, we’ve been cracking down on people who are streaming media at work. Our T1 is usually maxed out all day, so we’ve been telling people to quit playing radio and listening to music, and watching video clips.

So of course I’m browsing my favorite web site when a popup starts off with some commercial, then some moran is poking his head in my door saying “Aha! So we can’t do it but you guys can.” I almost responded with a “FUck you Moogle-fUcker!” but caught myself at the last second.

So here’s my $9.99. To be honest, I’m a little proud I lasted as long as I did.

I gave in yesterday myself. Fucking WoW patches are a pain. Renewed just to grab the patch from here.

Mine expires in December so I have a ways to go before I face the question of renewing or not.

GDI, wish I'd known that yesterday. Smiley: glare

Oh man, do you know how much hassle I went through to get those patches on our server? I had to beat some lady (damn, I hope it wasn't one of our asylumite lovlies, if so... get out of my way next time) with a stick to get into the queue or something to download it and put it up.

Of course for some dumb reason I put the french patch up first. That will never happen again.

Those pop-ups with sound are very annoying. I miss the days when the only advertisements you found on the net was banner ads.

If you get rid of macromedia player alot of those animated pop-ups can't play. But then you lose the ability to view other macromedia media.

My year longer premium ends in 2 weeks.

I don't think I will renew. I think I will have to make up for my lack of avatar by spamming incessantly. Of course if I woke up on day and my account was Guru I would be a life long subscriber.

Hmm, that's odd. I couldn't find any for about three patches' worth, so I stopped expecting them. Of course that could correspond with a four-month period when getting the site to open at all was pretty hit or miss, too.

Got upgraded to a new computer and the sound card was not installed properly. Not that anyone in my office cares.

What do you actually get, I know you get smilies, but what else

Im enjoying these three months I just renewed for, but I wont renew, at least immediatly, when it runs out. By then the lil one will be almost here and I dont see myself having the time to enjoy $9 spent on an avatar I wont get to see often. Also, I'm still waiting to see what happens with the site in the long run. Ilia already told me there is no future date known when we will find out more info on the take over, err I mean merge

To send him shooting up the pipe!

My little one watched the new Willy Wonka movie on dvd yesterday - I have that song stuck in my head (it's what the oompaloompahs sing when Augustus Gloop gets stuck in the pipe).

I read someone taunting Alla about when and if this zam thing is ever going to be real. I wonder how we're going to feel then? Like, is the muddy-chocolate color I get (from being a wow poster) going to turn ... purple? Is the guy swooping down on the gryph in the upper left hand corner going to wave a little flag that says, "Buy more gold!"?

Another line from the song goes something like: "Although in truth we must admit, he may be altered quite a bit...."

In.

Oh, and kudos to you, Zammers, for being capable of accepting my new CC where Sony was unable.
