I actually had a ittle parking lot incident yesterday. I went to the grocery store after work and I parked in the first row. Granted, the parking lot was pretty empty and the space right next to me (on the driver side) was empty. Someone swooped in there as I was about to get out of my car.

So I waited a few seconds for them to finish parking so I could get out. When I got out, the driver of the other car got out too and she looked me over and said "You took my spot." I looked at her and I was like "you got the spot right next to me, what's the difference?" So she had to walk the 3 extra feet to the store, was that really such a hassle?

She walked all huffily into the grocery store and I went in. I had only a few things to grab so I left before she did. But not before I parked a few grocery carts right next to and behind her car. I know, it was petty, but she pissed me off.

For some reason I tend to park at the end of the lot. I'll pull into Best Buy and park in the second to last spot. Even though there are other open spots further up, I dunno. I think it might be laziness. I'm too lazy to drive up another 20 yards to a closer spot but I'm willing to walk said distance, go figure.

I do the same thing, but I do it because I usually don't go out unless its a nice day, and I will usually take my corvette out. I would rather walk another 30 feet then have the risk of getting my car dented by some idiot.

And while we are on that subject, anyone else notice how you can park really far away, but if you have a nice car people MUST park near you? even when theres a ton of spots closer to the store?

I usually park at the first available spot. Often, though, I park further away next to the asshat who parked his car in two spots further away just to avoid people parking next to him. And yes I often park close enough that he has a hard time getting into his car.

I really hate those fuckers who park their BMW in front of the fire hydrant cause they can't be bothered walk 20 feet from the nearest space.

I had the pleasure of working security in the parking lot of a store and have some ass park in front of the hydrant. When I asked him to move he said "Whatever rent-a-cop." and went into the store. Shortly later I smelled smoke and the shop next-door was on fire. The Fire Department showed up and saw the car there blocking the hydrant. I told one of the fireman I had told the guy not to park there. He nodded, busted the front windows, and ran the hose through to the hydrant. The owner of the car cam out a few minutes later and was so pissed his face was red. Told him, "I warned ya not to park there. Do you want to make a complaint?" and pointed out a cop who had just arrived to driect traffic on the road. The cop wrote him a ticket for parking in front of the hydrant. Smiley: lol

Yes. It's because we think you're dumb.
